I see that the Wildcats are getting 5 points, which is about 5 points more than I had this game pegged at. Even with the game being Phil Fulmer's farewell and with the Vols' historical dominance of this series the line looks very inflated to me. I'd really like to hear from folks who feel like Tennessee covers this number, because my own initial take is that this should be a heavy bet on Kentucky.

you can't make UK a huge play...

because of the emotion factor you mentioned. UK and Vandy are pretty equal and wouldn't you have said Vandy +5 should be a huge play? This is one to stay away from...

But I think there was a letdown for Vandy after qualifying for a bowl. I lean to UK here, and I lean to Vandy against Wake.

a letdown vs the in state rival that owns you?...

uhhh...no. I don't think qualifying for the who gives a shit bowls equals your best chance on paper to beat your in state rival in a generation...they played hard, and just got beat.

Did you watch the game? I did & they sure did not look as motivated as one would expect for a huge rivalry game. They had the money lifted off their back when they qualified for a bowl game & they looked lethargic in their next game. Even their coach admitted that they felt a lot of pressure to get bowl eligible so they looked flat from being spent from their prior game.

@Tennessee

Believe me Fulmer will go out a winner. NEVER underestimate emotion in sports (take loyd's last game at michigan last year vs UF)

I watched the Vandy/Tenn game as well b/c I stupidly put money on Vandy, and I can assure you that Vandy will not cover against Wake Forest. I am an avid Ole Miss fan and witnessed losses firsthand to both Vandy and Wake Forest. Wake Forest is definitely the better team, and after watching Vandy's play the past few weeks could not imagine them even putting up a fight against Wake Forest. Wake Forest is the better team and will win by double digits.

In regards to the Tenn/Kentucky game, I would take Tennessee. I realize they have had a miserable season, but they should have confidence after last week's victory. Kentucky is nothing special and should not be a problem for a Tennessee team that needs this win to finish their season on a bright note. I am probably going to play both of these games.

I think the best bet in this game will be the under. Tenn has a good defense but terrible offense. Look for them to run the ball just like last week(only nine or ten passes if I remember correctly). The under covered easily even though there were two pick sixes and another 3 points on a 70 yard interception return right before the half. Ky is hurting at the QB and receiver positions. Any weakness in the Ky defense is offset IMO by how bad the Tenn offense is playing.

I think Fulmer goes out a winner as well. And although Kentucky has done a good job playing without what was probably their best 2 skill players on Offense......it eventually has to catch up with them. Berry sparked the UT Offense as well......

Bad spot for UK.

Don't you agree with me that even UT lose this game, Fulmer is still out as a winner ? Yes, he is a winner nonetheless.
Records showed: Away team 5-0 ATS last 5 years.
PS: Best chance on this game: OVER
This two teams scored 102 pts totals last year, and you know what: Tenn. haven't gone for Over in this season for 10 straight game. Is it due for Over ? Take a chance.
