I'll tell you this though. Locklinesports guy is a wimp to be taking the Duck on the ML at -175. He's basically telling us that this is not a lock or like you said, he'd be playing it at -.5-25. He is scared of the tie, so he takes the easy way out. The odds of a -175 home fav losing outright is slim, because of the tie. He has about a 65% chance for at least a tie. So he only has a 35% chance of a loss.
96% of people that play the fav at home on the moneyline (0 goals) have got no balls. Because 94% of the time, they will not take the game on moneyline because it has more value, but they take it because they fear the tie. I've seen people take -280 on the ML, instead of -.5-80 once. Imagine that, they didn't care paying 1 dollar extra for the half goal.

I NEVER bash for just a pick. There are 20 threads with picks in here daily and you will rarely find my name in any of them. If people selling picks screw up their record I will call them out. If a guy is touting a lock and I dsagree with his betting stradegy I will post it. I get in Ivans shit now and then, and at times I was hard on him but i will say he is a better capper then he use to be.

There is something I need to get straight. Every bet I make is a MORTAL LOCK. If the word bothers you then you need to quit gambling. Remember there is no such thing as a lock. A smart gambler knows that and laughs it off. And I dont care if a new gambler comes on and bets his whole bankroll on it. If you dont like my threads stay out of them.

and believe me i know first hand. i used to rate games like that and after 2-3 winning days before i knew it i was sending out five 5-star picks every day. what a bonehead! now i just rate them 'best bets' and 'leans' and if i love something out of ordinary (like cbs/stl over tonite) i let them know it.
some years back i used to do a "lock of year" which won three straight seasons but on season four i ended up with about fifty new guys jumping all over it and the game not only lost but i wasn't even on right side! so what do those fifty who weren't with me for the first three "locks" remember about me? that i gave out a "lock of the year" that got smoked...so now i just be a bit more realistic and say: "this is strongest play of season TO THIS POINT".
