Follow ridiculous trends that have no relevance to the upcoming game being played.

For example: The SF Giants are 125-7 when playing on Tuesday nights on grass.

...and when they lose, the next game they say they're 125-8, but you still have your bookie's shoe up your ass.

lighten up harry potter, i am sure your crystal ball has a few more good picks in her for the dance.....will you be posting all of your tourn picks? do you make a play on every game?do you have a way to make your own line? just curious. i would'nt no where to start to make a line, that is why i shop lines and bet the -120 or better....ocassionly i try my own 'opinion' but i dont do well at all doing that. mainly small parlay attempts.:nohead:

There are no LOCKS. The only locks are games that are fixed. Years ago, i got info on the day the BC game was fixed but everybody had it off the line. I called 5 bookies and they all laughed at me. They knew the game was fixed.

36. Don't bet on a team just because the game is "important" to them (e.g. can still make the playoffs) and unimportant or meaningless to the other squad.

Couldn't be more wrong about player props. Absolute goldmine for bright people.

My advice would be to avoid being lazy and play a future on a team in an event such as a hoops tourney or playoffs of any sport without thinking it through first. You can typically get much better price by playing them on the money line every game of the event in question.

Dont be afraid to make a play on a game at 8,9, or 10 just because the line opened at 7.
