That is a good read. I think Todd Dodge has a bright future (GoSooners doesn't quite agree with me), but it was a surprise to see him make a list like that. His philosphy is all about offense and he has a history of making his quarterbacks look fantastic. He could be the next-generation June Jones.

only issues with the list is there are guys with successful BCS programs listed as "on the rise" (BC, Cincy, MSU). I understand the Mendenhall and Dodge deals, plus coordinators of BCS squads, but leave out the others.

although he left bama I feel Major A has a nice future ahead of him...may find out this year in Tx

AA..The main knock I had against Dodge was his coaching staff, which with all of the highschool and Division 2 backgrounds seemed a little amatuerish to me for this level of football. But he might turn out okay since he doesn't exactly have to live up to high standards being in the Sunbelt...But as far as their prediction of Dodge being OU's offensive coordinator? I'm not holding my breath on that one..

Maybe my ACC bias but Jim Grobe - Wake Forest has made the program an in conference force as oppossed to a 'bye week' and bowl games to match. Like said before some of those programs are respected programs with a few down years. Wake wasn't even a program before Grobe.

Conan, As a bettor, I can't believe that Skip Holtz @ ECU was left off the list. In his 3 yrs there, he's 25-10 ATS (.714) and 1-1 in bowl games. Of course, most of his players up 'til now were recruited by other folks. We'll see what he can do with his own guys TY and next.

Turner Gill should be on that list...I disagree with Al Golden being in that top 10......has outcoached Al Golden for the past two years, and today was no different

he is the easy #1 on my list of coming to Syraucse. i think he is one of the only coaches we can get that has a good opportunity of turning our program around. excellent coach and think will be an even better recruited. i would take him above anyone
