5-3 last week- anyone that had michigan had the gods on their side including myself last week. I am sure I will pay them back soon.

29-21-1 Year to Date

One early play will give my reasons later:

Early pic MSt + 7 buy .5. Thought this would come out @ 3 or so. Mn will have very tuff time recovering from devastating loss. MSU is hot and Smoker is a better passer than Navarre. And yes I`m from the TC`s. Also MSU RD is in top 10, and you saw what happened when Goofers had to count on Khaliq. I thought he had matured, but he`s still making the same blunders in crunch time. I hope we don`t see a repeat of LY collapse.

Silver, I like that play as well, but I don't believe in buying points. Hopefully it gets to 7 on its own if not I may play it small. GL

you two are on my POW's. I hope this is a good thing!

MSU will turn into a moneyline play for me. And Iowa is overvalued heading into the shoe. OSU takes care of business on defense and there Offense takes out some flustrations on Iowa's over-matched D..

Silver....Love Michigan State and points. My biggest play this year was last week with Michigan State...I can't figure out for the life of me how that line got to -3 over a horrible Illinois team.

Agree that Ohio State will take care of business also.

sorry ballbreaker. But this MSU under John L. Smith with its spread Offense and Jeff Smoker at QB is solid. There defense plays with a purpose and they protect the ball as all Smith teams did/do. MSU in years past would have been ready for a letdown. In years past, however, John L. Smith wasn't running the ship!

MSU to knock off a down Minnesota team after last weeks collapse to Michigan. And Remember Mason never has traveled well at Minnesota or Kansas before that. MSU +7 MSU moneyline!

Jeff Smoker is the best QB in the Big Ten and MSU is playing the best football in the BIG 10. Minnesota is ready for the letdown after last week not MSU!

ps I will be playing this over if its in the low 50's.

"OSU takes care of business on defense and there Offense takes out some flustrations on Iowa's over-matched D." I agree that OSU will take care of business on defense, but unless you have been watching a different Ohio St offensive team, they aren't going to over match anyone.

As some of you know I take a close look at QB's and defense.Ohio St's defense is better then Iowa's and second and probably most important, you have a QB at Iowa that has not proven he can win on the road under a pressure situation. Looking for some mistakes out of Chandler and Ohio st gets to play a short field. If Ohio St has to drive 80 yards to score they will be in trouble.Maybe wrong but worth a bet. GL

Iowa exploited Michigan's soft Zone coverage with the TE down the middle late. There freshman QB will not be at home nor will he be facing a soft ZONE at OSU. When I say OSU takes out flustration on Iowa's over matched D. I say that from a speed stand point as well as a homefield stand point.

The fact of the matter is OSU is at home giving less then 5 after there first lose in 2 years to a freshman lead team which lost at MSU 3 weeks ago. Iowa is also overvalued following there win at home on homecoming to Michigan 2 weeks ago.

OSU by 10.

Koke , we are on the same side of the game, by the way Chandler is a senior not freshman.

Gm @ Mn. All other pts quite valid. As far as being "due for a letdown", this is one of my main concerns w/the M&G. Mason has rarely shown the ability to rally the troops in times like this. The truth is altho improved the Mn speed especially on D is still subpar. As I said prior to LW we WILL score but when Smoker as Navarre did starts passing the Goofers are fu*ked. I`ve never liked Mason and am probably in the minority. As far as recruiting goes why is arguably best receiver and one of the top 5 players in the country playing for Pitt?? Larry Fitzgerald played right here for a Mpls HS! Also 2 starters for ND, Neal & LeVoir. Someone mentioned buying pts. I agree I rarely do it, except on "key" #`s in some cases. This is one of them going to 7 is huge, # is dropping 6 @ Pinny 5.5 @ Oly. When the ML`s come out I`m on it also. What a traitor!!!!

silver good luck smart to play with your head and not your heart. Jwunder, your correct, FIRSTY year Starter only not a freshman. Still doesn't matter, playing and starting at the shoe first time is a tough situation.

msu +7
osu -4

To follow an earlier thought by Koke -- the total for the Mich St./Minnesota game is posted at 52 1/2...not even close to enough, IMHO...Played the OVER hard

Pitt -15.5

Although statistically these two team shouldn't have a 15.5 point difference between the two of them this looks to be a total mismatch.Rutgers has decent #s against buffalo,Army and Navy. Pitt should come out smoking especially on defense where last week a below average ND team destroyed Pitt on the ground. Too many good players on Pitt for Rutgers to stay in the game. Could be wrong but worth a bet. 42-24 Pitt. GL

I like this MSU team and was looking ahead at this one last week. Overrated Minnesota, versus a Mich state team that was somewhat staying under the radar after last year. But last weekend left me confused. I expected Minnesota to get by Michigan setting this game up nicely. 6 points is still pretty and will be hard to pass up though.

However, I thought I would point out a couple of things. Mich State has been committing a lot of penalties from what I've seen. Also I'm not convinced one way or the other about how Minnesota will come back off this loss. I would argue that last game did more good then bad in that the offense proved a lot to everyone. I'm not certain they will miss a beat at all next week at home. The question is will the defense be motivated to make up for what happened? And I have no doubt Smoker will be ready to smoke that secondary. Someone mentioned that Mason isn't good at rallying troops. Is that so? I have no clue on the matter.

Also what's up with all the turnovers by Mich State opponents. It seems as though they've gotten a lot of gifts early in games. Have these been turnovers forced by their defense or just poor execution on the part of the other team?

Thanks for the info.

I am leaving the MSU game alone for now I just don't like the looks of it.GL to who ever has it but something doesn't feel right.

This has nothing to do with my plays this week but in the future it might, does anyone know what has happened to the Pittsburgh defense? I thought they were suppose to be very good against the run but the stats say something else.

Mason and road games or games after a loss.

Glenn Mason has never traveled well to begin with. And after a loss his teams struggle as well. Can someone bring up a stat of glenn mason's record at minnesota after a loss, then on the road. And to get even more complex. ON THE ROAD AFTER A LOSS! regardless, MSU +7 was a gift here, Michigan St. may win this game straight-up. The fact that I'm getting a full TD, I know the line has dropped since monday, only made this play a pow for me, I would have played MSU +1 in this spot! good luck whoscoaching
