Boise St. -24

lots of points to lay on a wednesday conference game but Boise is still in BCS contention and will not let off the gas pedal. Smurf turf time will draw some viewers and I expect Boise to win this one in a romp. 1st half Boise would also be a great play IMO. La Tech hung pretty close with Kansas for a quarter or two but still lost by 29. I think Boise is better than KU (flame me, whatever) with a bigger home field advantage.

Agree the home field is huge in potato land. The blue turf mesmerizes opponents.

really? I am kind of leaning La.Tech's way for some reason. I am 9 out of my last 11 but could def. fall anytime. I loooove Fresno st.(-22.5) vs. hawaii

I think Hawaii will be within one or two scores entering the 4th quarter...didn't get a chance to really look at the game but Fresno hasn't beaten anyone that I think is that good....an overrated Rutgers and a very horrible UCLA team are all that come to my head. I was impressed with the performance vs. Wisky but they are pretty inconsistent as well.

Hawaii on the other hand, has improved every week. They aren't in the same class as Florida, but they were pretty much playing a bunch of rookies all day. Oregon st is too hard for me to judge right now cause they are also very unpredictible. Losing to SJSU at home was pretty bad but that was the best game I have seen them play this year....i think the SJSU QB is at like an 80% accuracy rate which is sick. I cannot think of another game where one team loses the turnover battle 0-6 and has a chance to win the game (it was anyone's game). If QB Graunke feels okay (he only played 2nd half last week cause his thumb has been giving him fits) then I would suggest playing Hawaii or laying off the game completely. (of course, i'm a homer so grain of salt comment applies here)

I'm here in Honolulu, i'll take Fresno -22.5, I'll take whatever bet you want as long as it's not more than 2 dimes. Got an email? I'll meet up with you...even straight bet...

I definitely do not bet more than 2 dimes....I'm not sure I want to meet up with you and make a bet though...kind of weird.

FWIW, I think you can get 22 online.....and I think if you have a local house, you can get a low line as well. For me, I think I'll wait and pray for 24 by kickoff.

Hawaii is so hard to cap right now. It's unfair to call them anything, or predict anything this season. Their "D" is decent, and has seen some mighty "O"s so far. But with Graunke not playing 100% in any game so far, how can anyone say HI doesn't stand a chance the rest of the way? With that said, I strongly believe Fresno gets revenge for the last HI visit because Funaki should be starting. He doesn't make his reads nearly as fast as Graunke. But, as a "homer" like Shadow, I'm hoping against hope the local boy pulls off the unthinkable.

GO BOWS!

I don't know how else to say it but Hawaii isn't nearly as bad as their record indicates and Fresno isn't nearly as good as they are getting credit for. This line is way off. I think Fresno should be -10 to -14.....in the 20s....you have to take hawaii here.

If they don't cover, it is gonna be because of how poorly Hawaii travels, not how poorly the team is....and if Hawaii does fail to cover the spread, next weeks line will be laughable and I will bet Wilheim's house on Hawaii.

Boise St -24 WIN
2nd half over 26.5 LOSE

YTD: 19-9

that 2nd half over was lost when La Tech shit themselves 1st and goal at the 4. TD there and this one goes for at least 30 in the 2nd half

Don't blame the travel on how poorly they play...that's part of preparing for a game. Fresno will cover this game easily.:ohno:
