Looks like MicroMike is gonna have to reach in his pocket for 10 pieces.

Believe it or not, back in '97/'98 and maybe thru early '00, W@gertalk actually at one point in time, had the jump on most all sportsbetting forums, with easy poster accessability and nice surfability, it had a nice run of solid winning plus quality posts, but it was allowed to waste away due to a lack of moderation..Tahoe Rich, Northern Ice, Stoney, Hammertime, Berkeley Guru, Reno,Igor, Ben Burns,etc..and many others..what a waste.

So Rx gang, what was your handle when posting on wagertr@sh?

that is correct horse i wasnt around for the days before reno started OSB when stoney was extorting money to fade reno in bases when reno's board came into power i became a well known poster there and became friends with a few of the guys there. OSB was my #1 for a few years but i kept checking out wager talk for the laughs, when they got that guy on the fpp that looked like a guerlilla they ragged on him non stop also 'joe money' never a dull moment with everyone flaming him. i migrated over to the RX in late 02 or early 03 and since then i rarely ever visit another board

Rob, I remember reading your posts at OSB in the early '00s, and I too now rarely peak at any other boards sans infrequent trips to MW, Madjacks, Covers, OGD, and PhoenixSports.

As far as Sevransky, I don't remember their totus back then, but he may have just had a bad year/period(even some of the best go bust sometimes), or may now have graduated his learning curve. It's not hard to believe, as sports betting just like Poker, has many known only by industry insider's that the public has never heard of.

The Rx is as almost as loaded as a trip to Celebrity Deli, Tillerman, Pieros, Cafe Michelle,etc..in their heydays, in terms of quite a few sharp sports minds floating around.

Not sure Faceless, someone here will know, I liked Stones, sure hope it works/worked out for he and his family, hoping he has his ducks-in-a-row now.

Rob, as far as tout notoriety goes, Scotty S could name a laundry list of players that 99% of the public has never heard of, that BMs fear 10/1 over the Feists,etc..and Poker has industry-only known real money-game players out there, that would eat the Varkonyis' of the world alive 7 days a week..and twice on Sunday!

LOLLllll

You're right, what a waste, that site was simply awesome in it's day. I used to post as Monte..... Anyone remember Camden Man? He posted for one maybe two years....I hooked up with on messanger and got his cbb plays for another year after that. No lie, this guy hit 75% of his plays, he would hand out 3-6 plays a night. I won more money that one season then I probably ever will again, and I was a 100 better then. I'm a far bigger player now and still don't believe I'll ever make what I did that year, it was incredible. Like to know if anyone remembers him?

SuperHero/Monte, I remember your name and also Camden, he also had a website that posted his plays for a while?

Camden Man seemed to have informed plays via Boston's connected sportsbetting figures by looking at his sides back then, and was quite an SEC football fan for a Yankee.

Ben Burns and his buddy Nick with hockey winners, Igor with K-St sides, Stoney with the Research-Triangle sides, Tahoe Rich with NFL, Hammertime with UConn hoops & PSU foots sides, Berkeley Guru with PAC-10 teams..was also nice to peek in there for just laughs at times..a nice run while it lasted.
