Cincinatti -3 1 unit
Team hits the offensive glass hard, should be able to get a bunch of second chance opportunities tonight. If they can cut back on their turnovers at all I think they could more or less cruise here tonight. Providence struggling with shooting the 3-ball and a road game usually isn't the best medicine for that. Providence apparently getting a decent amount of credit for being 2-0 in conference so far while Cincy is 0-1. Thing is, Providence beat St John's and Depaul at home - while St John's is improved these are still two of the lesser teams in the conference. Cincy got buried at Marquette as the Golden Eagles should an unbelievable 15-25 from downtown (as Cincy shot just 3-19). Vaughn was held scoreless. Think it was a bit of a flukey value which is leading to a little value here as we have, in my opinion, the better team, at home, laying a FG. I'll take my chances here.

Good luck.

I don't know I have a feeling PC gets this one. They are starting to play much better, as would be expected as the more repetitions the more they get adjusted to Keno's style of play. Cincinatti has the tendency to go frigid cold from the field. There is no denying PC has some talent, they just haven't been able to put it all together. I think they have been improving and this is the type of road win that really gets the ball rolling. I was holding off in hopes for a better number before I play them, but GL regardless. You are def one of the more knowledgeable cappers in the cbb forum. The rest just look at team jeresy's and rankings.

here's is an interesting fact about the Friars. All 8 players in their rotation at some point or another in their careers has averaged double figures for the season. From Efejuku this year, all the way down to Brian Mckenzie, who is averaging only 5.2 ppg this season. Very strange, but I don't think many teams in the country can say they have 8 players on their current roster that have averaged double figures for a complete season sometime in their career.

Nothing really to do with your play just an interesting note on this team. It proves the potential that this team has.

Appreciate the kind words and I definitely see where you're coming from. Past couple games PC has definitely looked like the better team - perhaps I am overemphasizing some of their early season struggles which as you say probably have a lot to do with a new coach. Would not shock me if they come out and win, but I like these short prices at home with a team that I see as equal or better...keeping it small based on similar thoughts to yours. Good luck to you tonight as well.

^Yeah Providence is no doubt a talented team that has probably been underachieving. Perhaps they have righted the ship and are ready to make a run...I still think they are getting a bit too much credit for a hot streak on a home-laden stretch, but if they get it done against Cincy tonight I might have to adjust my thinking, worth the shot at this small price to me though.

Adding:

Davidson +14 1 unit
Going to have to get out of here pretty soon and personally I'm going to wait until before I leave to put it in but the line has seemed to flat-line. Came out about where I expected and I knew all along I would be on Davidson. Everyone has soured on this team and while they are not as good as everyone wanted to believe they were earlier in the season they are still a good solid basketball team. First off the close game Davidson had at Charleston the other night was basically on ice before a late surge by Charleston. Before that was the Purdue game where Curry really struggled and they got blown out by the same team Duke handled easily on the same court - but that type of capping that would lead you believe Duke will win in a blowout is not a winning strategy in my eyes. Bottom line is Davidson played a tight one with Okla on the road and beat a very good West Va team. The biggest concerns I have with the game are 1) Can Davidson not get absolutely killed on the glass - this is an area that tends to hurt them against the top tier teams and Duke rebounds it very well. 2) Can they keep Duke from getting to the stripe 100 times tonight. Davidson can be a little foul happy as they play up-tempo and like to create turnovers. The last thing that concerns me is actually one of the reasons I like Davidson. They take care of the basketball - something that is absolutely essential to any teams chances of beating Duke. If these three things all go in Duke's favor they will snowball and Davidson will probably get swept away with ease...but if they can prevent Duke from turning a strength into a weakness (limiting turnovers) and either keep them off the glass or the line I think we will see Davidson basically take Duke to the wire for a fairly easy cover. We also saw a similar, but lesser Rhode Island team take Duke to the wire in their place behind the shooting of Jimmy Baron...Steph likes the big stage and I think he'll have it going tonight. Definitely see Davidson not being intimidated and showing tonight.

Good luck.

Probably fortunate to get out of here with a split though Cincy played in a tight one late, nice call Homedawg, PC shot it well from downtown and won it outright. Davidson came out and turned it over 8 times right off the bat (luckily Duke did too) but after they settled in they played alright I guess. Not the best cap ever but that's the type of margin for error +14 with a sound defensive team can give you.
