Very discouraging 2-5 night last night.

12 PM Plays:
George Washington (+16)
GW has lost 3 in a row and 5 of their L7, but they have played a tough schedule this year and do have a couple of decent wins (at Charlotte, vs. West Virginia).

B/c of the losing streak, I think we get some value here. Plus, GW is content to run with St/ Joe's, who like to get a lot of 3-balls out of the halfcourt.

Michigan State (+4)
Syracuse has feasted on the cupcakes since losing at home to Charlotte in the opener.

MSU has played everybody, and I mean everybody.

This looks like a close one here and that edge goes to MSU. The Spartans are shooting 76.5% from the line while Syracuse is only shooting 59.7%.

MSU is also shooting 34% from 3 and Syracuse is at 31%. Plus, this is arguably the best defensive and most physical team the Orange has played all year.

Still looking at all other games, but haven't had time to finish yet.

1 PM Plays:

Old Dominion (-4)
Drexel comes home from a hoilday torunament win at Florida International. I usually go against teams who just won holiday tourneys.

ODU is a solid 4-0 at home.

Florida (-9')
Why is a Florida team who struggled a little out of the gate favored by this much over a 12-1 FSU team? Exactly. UF has played their best ball the last 2 games.

2 PM Plays:

Marshall (+2)
Marshall won at UAB this year and CMU is still overvalued from their win at Notre Dame.

Youngstown St (+9')

New Mexico (+20)
UNM is holding opponents to 38% shooting and 59 ppg. They are also shooting almost 40% as a team from 3-point range.

3 PM Plays:

Missouri (-6')
Everyone is down on Mizzou right now and I think the public is moving this line b/c everyone thinks Missouri sucks.

I think the Tigers put it all together today and win pretty handily.

Xavier (-3')
These guys have killed me all year, but they get Bama off a big win.

E. Michigan (+6)
Bowling Green comes back from the Rainbow Classic and I feel they will be sluggish their first game back from the islands.

Arizona State (+4')
This is the game ASU has looked to all season and it is their first marquee game.

Arizona tends to play out of control and I think Diogu can get their frontline in foul trouble and the Cats have no depth whatsoever inside.

Looks like I will split the 3 PM games for an
8-3 start.

2 plays for 5:30:

Duke (-14)
Clemson's big guys (Hobbs and Babalola) will get in foul trouble against the more athletic and lean big men of Duke.

Pepperdine (+4')
The Waves come off 2 losses in Hawaii and come straight into Denver. Meanwhile, CSU comes off that miraculous win over Purdue and won at South Florida prior to that. This is a huge letdown spot.
