Purdue -4.5 1 unit
Too classy for this NW team, I'm not ready to say that Purdue definitely isn't the best team in the Big 10...should win this one rather convincingly despite being on the road.

Wisconsin -6.5 2 units
Back with a writeup and YTD.

Good luck.

Wisconsin -6.5 2 units (total, not adding to it)
Had more to say about Purdue but it's about to tip...both of these games remind me of games last night - Purdue of Wake, just a better team on the road at a small price...Wisconsin of G'Town. I see a lot of people saying Minnesota isn't getting enough respect and that this line is too high (similar to what was said about Cuse last night). I actually had Minn as one of my big sleepers coming into this season and they have done about what I expected, but I do not feel they are better than Wisconsin. Wiscy is a very tough place to play and while 6.5 in a slow paced game isn't an irrelevant number, I am expecting Wisconsin by double-digits here. First of all, Minnesota is a completely untested road team. They have played Colo St (won by 1) and Iowa (won by 3). Couple nice results on neutral courts, but they looked very sloppy at Iowa and an effort like that in Wisconsin should have them down double-digits by the half. One thing Minnesota does pretty well is hit the offensive glass but Wisconsin is as good as any team in the country and keeping the opposition off it and while Wisconsin doesn't afford themselves a ton of second chance oppos they make up for that by not turning it over and shooting it well from the outside - which are probably the two best ways to beat this Minnesota team. I really just feel this Wisconsin team is too physical for Minnesota to beat at home at this point..and while I'm a little down on Wisconsin I think everyone is jumping ship a little too soon. Their 4 losses have come to UConn, Marquette, Texas and Purdue with all but the first being close (and only Texas at home). Maybe they won't cover the number but I feel strongly they win the game and I expect them to stretch it to double figures before it's all said and done.

^Had talked myself off Purdue after initially liking them based on seeing 4 instead of the expect 7, was stupid...I really didn't believe in NW at all especially their defense but it's creating a Purdue turnover every other possession....now watching Marist-Siena on the local channel, may have a 2nd half play, leaned on marist as anytime you take the Red Foxes at home +8.5 it's probably positive value, couldn't do it but Devezin killing it and they look game early.

Marist/Siena 2h over 76 1 unit
Lots of careless turnovers in the first half disrupting the flow of the game...neither team defending the tin too well...Devezin can get by Hasbrouck any time he wants it and Schnieder and 21 (Morgan? forget his name) great shooters....Rossiter scoring at will on other end, Moore penetrating...UIbiles should stop settling. Refs dying to call some fouls...and this one could stay close so chance of OT always looming.

Wow, Marist-Siena score 13 in the first minute basically, and it's headed under...Marist got up double-digits and went into the prevent, milked over 2 minutes with no points on offensive boards one series. Siena shot selection absolutely horrible, settling all night...Siena will beat them by 15+ in Albany, you can book that..Marist is so tough at home, people don't realize what an advantage they have there.

Zona St -1 1 unit
Zona St doesn't always play like it but when they are on their game they have looked like a top-5 team. Harden-Pendy is as good of a 1-2 punch as you can find. Not usually my type of play (though I have been playing a good amount of road teams thus far, look for that to begin to shift) but I don't think the Pac-10 teams home court advantages are as pronounced as some leagues. Gibson is a stud but Harden has taken his game to a new level as he's now hitting 3's at over 40%...Abbott should start to shoot it better from deep and Glasser can knock them down as well. They don't always look pretty but Zona St is simply very efficient on both ends..they do everything well and if they don't get absolutely killed on the boards here I expect them to find a way to win.

good luck.

1-3 -3.4 units
Not a good night but I do love getting to watch a MAAC game on TV for a 2nd half play...they ended up going way over and sending it to OT. Siena getting a 6 point win or so might hurt value on Siena when they play in Albany but they should beat Marist by 12+ easy there.

YTD: 10-8 +4.2 units
