I said that no Republican resisted Obama in any way when it came to deportation of illegal immigrants. That includes Mitch McConnell.

Surely you can find examples of Republican resistance to Obama on THIS TOPIC - deportation of illegal immigrants. Errrr you won't there was none.

And contrary to what you say Trump ran on shutting down the border in 2016. Nancy Pelosi refused to give him any money to build the wall. Finally Trump found a way to circumvent her resistance and appropriated 5 billion from the Defense budget to build what he could of a sturdy wall. He left his term in 2020 with the job incomplete but with lots of steel and other material in Arizona to complete the job which Joe Biden sold for pennies on the dollar. He refused to complete the wall Trump designed.

There are now and have always been plenty of Republicans (like me and many others right here on this board never mind across the country) who wanted an orderly immigration system which needed to include a reasonably impenetrable wall. Try to find me a Democrat who has a serious platform to control illegal immigration. Hell find me one of your Democrat friends who takes this issue seriously and restore order to immigration at the southern border. I'm not gonna wait long. Because you'll have a hard time finding any.

Ronald Regan gave illegals amnesty under the promise from Congress that they would build a wall to get immigration at our southern border under control. They never did.
