Obama was very dumb with that and those comments. Purely politically based and not something I like. BUT, to give him one small shred of credit, he did vote against the debt ceiling because he didn't want to fund the Iraq war which he was vehemently against. So he had a reason, just a really dumb one. Like the Republicans reasons. Let economists determine what we should do with the economy, not a bunch of clowns looking for power.
