Been doing this for 12 years now......The first 4 were a complete waste of money as those were the teenage & college years! Not a clue! Jack Price, Stu Feiner & Johnny Demarco ring a bell?

Then, the next 2-3 years, it was on to different legitimate services, or shall I say monitored services.....won a lot more then, but not consistently.

IT wasnt until the last 5-6 years, when I started handicapping my own games, that I started winning. I've gotten better each year since with last year being my best....Have used the same system for football and it has paid off. Sadly enough, my winnings from last season are sitting in Costa Rica or England somewhere.........................

Most profitable sports for me......

#1 College Football Sides....so many games....so many loose lines!
#2 NFL Totals........a lot easier than the tight ass sides on these games.
#3 Baseball (all).....fairly easy at times & not a lot of interest.

We always called "middling" a game "jaking" it.

I did this during football 1 year and rarely hit the middle (maybe once) , but I was pounding the one local I was using while I lost to the other every week. Eventually he caught on.....never said it outright but he told me I was too good and that he wasnt taking my shit anymore! :hikitty: He knew I was exploiting his soft lines...just a shame I didnt middle a lot more.

Middling basketball is much more profitable than middling football................football is very hard to middle, but certainly can be done.

I'll give you a no-brainer that you can play every time you see it.

On baseball games with a total of 9-flat or less, look to take the +1.5 runs with the away underdog team when the lay price on the +1.5 runs, when combined with the lay on the moneyline for the home favorite is 95 cents or less. Example...Pittsburgh +1.5 (-160) at NY Mets -135, total 9 flat. Pitt should be strongly considered as a value play here because it's 95 cents. Obviously, the edge becomes stronger as it gets lower than 95 cents combined.

On games where there's a 7.5 total or less, you can even go up to 100 cents....example....visitor +1.5 (-150), home favorite (-150).

Don't play this formula with higher games totals from 9.5 and up, because the run-and-a-half becomes less valuable with the higher scoring games.

Always look to take the runs, NOT lay them (unless you're scalping, of course).

In spite of what a some people say, I think baseball is the easiest sport to succeed in because it's the easiest sport to determine whether or not you have the edge, or at least when you are betting with no juice. Examples...you can go over or under 9 runs at even money at two different outs, or you can take team A at -110 at one place or team B at +112 at another.

In sports where you usually have to lay negative juice, such as basketball and football, it becomes a lot trickier and you could be faked into thinking you have a slight edge, when, in fact, it's a slight edge against you. (Refer to RULE 123.a....If you think you have the edge, but you don't...you'll be punished in the long run.)

I hope this helps some of you to some bookie money.

My biggest secret is a bag of tricks I got from James Grosjean. His book, Beyond Counting, taught me about 5-6 good ways to win money from casinos. I only use 4 of them. My favorite's are beating Three Card Poker and using a watch to clock the 40:1 payoffs on the Big 6 Wheel. I would've never gone near a Big 6 wheel without his information. I recently went into a Tunica casino and hit a joker for $400 on my 4th $10 bet.

I have won a nice 6 figures applying his techniques at casinos all over the USA. He has systems I would've never dreamed of using to take money out the front door.

There isn't anything on sportsbetting, but lots of little known tricks on just about any casino game offered. The book is out of print, but on occasion someone sells a copy on eBay. There's one there now.

Get a local and tell him you will bet the board for at least 2 dimes a game but that you can move the # 1 point thus setting up middle situations with offshore books. Plus the local figures you are easy money and you demand you need 10% back on your losses. Back in the day i made alot of money doing this but burned alot of bookies out but like they say there is a new sucker born everyday im just having a little trouble finding them in todays day and age of cumputers!!

Barring that dont try to beat the spread fair and square at 1 bookie with just capping or tailing, if you dont bring anything else to the table you'll have little chance. Seek edges ie: more outs, reduced juice, correlated parlays, whatever you can think of. Money management is key.
