I think this is a good number to bet Boston. People keep mentioning how Minnesota has won ten straight. They won seven against the White Sox and three against the Angels. Buxton just went on the IL today, no surprise there. Houck has been one of the best pitchers in baseball through one month of the season. Boston finally gets Vaughn Grissom in the lineup today. He was the return for Chris Sale. I think the odds should be flipped in this one. I will take the Sox for two units. GL

Dodgers/Marlins over 8.5 (-110), 1*
I’m not sure how sharp Buehler is going to be right off the bat. The Marlins offense showed signs of life yesterday and that could carry over into tonight’s game. The Dodgers are certainly capable of putting up 6+ themselves. Tough loss in the Mets game. Tampa was down to their final strike. It looked like another easy Diaz save and it turned into a heartbreaker. Hopefully, I find some better luck this week.
The Giants are somewhat interesting today. They called up Black from the minors and nobody has seen him at the major league level. He’s a bit of a wildcard there. You can find the Giants +1.5 at -110. It could turn into a bullpen game for the Giants and those can get a bit unpredictable. I certainly lean towards SF.
