Trout blew that game. If he came through one time in the 4 opportunities he had, 3 of them with runners on, it could of been a tie game.

Entertaining, yes, but not the best baseball when the pitchers are minor leaguers or on the cusp of retiring. The USA team didn't have a single #1 top pitcher....they were all in Spring Training!

In a tournament that is absolutely stacked in the US' favor, they've won it once. The commentators throughout the tournament were constantly pushing how the US team was head and shoulders above everyone else and "the team to beat" like it was a foregone conclusion, even when they were calling games between two other countries. LOL

Yet Japan did it with a non-MLB manager and a roster of almost all non-MLB players.
