Week 2 in the books.
some big numbers put up by a handful of players and defenses.
Couple of teams out to a quick start with bunch of points.
few others out of the gate slow (your commish included)

survivor:
Birminghambock sees injuries to conner and lance and some other weak efforts lead him to last this week

eliminated:
Week 1 - chop
Week 2 - bbock

Might be the biggest Monday night comeback I’ve ever seen
Down 78 points going into today and by halftime of the Philly game I win lol
I wasn't even paying attention because I thought I already won. Woke up this morning and couldn't believe it.

Hey all - just sent email through yahoo as well about our survivor side pot.
$50 per team - payable directly to winner after week 11

team with lowest point total is eliminated each week until we reach the final 2 in week 11.
Everyone has played the last 4 years so I assume all will be in.
Tell the group now if you’re not interested so we can know ahead of week 1
Sorry I didn't respond earlier but yeah I'm in for this.

I would have comeback too, if Allen and Henry didn't take the 4th quarter off

I needed the Titans to compete

Week 3 almost done - every week has surprises
Yours truly needs a miracle Monday to avoid going 0-3.

Cy lays an egg with Montgomery getting injured and Aaron Jones and Jefferson not showing up …. after being top 3 in points and now eliminated from survivor

eliminated:
Chop
Bbock
Cy

I think we should reduce rosters to 16 next year. Meaning there are 12 more free agents and possibly more trading. 17 person rosters are rather large. Also, when using a snake draft, you should keep the rounds at an even number in order to minimize any drafting advantages (as small as that may be by round 17)

The most important thing is to reduce roster sizes, increase free agency and decrease hoarding (the injury lottery)

I agree with all of that
Probably need to cut 2 spots

+1 like reducing 1-2 spots.

FYI - I'm looking for RB bench depth, have two top 10 TE's up for offer. Thought Easy_Money and I may have a win/win, but if not, opening the door. Feel free to propose.

I agree....as long as we get rid of those f$#%ing kickers. They are a wasted roster space.

I've been watching football for 50+ years

I've been playing fantasy football for 25+ years

Every game I've even watched has a kicker. Every league I've ever been in has a kicker. Every year, kickers are the leading scorers in the NFL. Kickers are the leading scorers in NFL history. Even as a kid playing sandlot football, we tried making FGs

Tell me cy, WTF did some kicker do to you? Were you kicked in the balls? Did a missed chip shot FG cost you a championship? Did you miss an xtra point that cost your team some game? Have you written a letter to Roger Goodell? Are you in counseling?

Kicking is a very very very integral part of football, you cannot change that.

You're going to be fine, you made it all these years and you're still a fan. :)

My team....Iowa State.....lost by 3 yesterday and our kicker missed 3 easy field goals including one at the end to put the game in OT. I HATE KICKERS!!!!

That sucks

Unless you bet KU ?

And my Huskies won a football game. Maybe their biggest win since 2010. Even if Fresno sucks, it was big for us

Baby steps

401k eliminated from survivor …. Yet still got a win as his second lowest score played the lowest score

Agree on reducing rosters by 1 if not 2 spots per team

I'm not going to argue any more but I hate kickers and Def. Id rather have 2 flex and no kicker as my preferred setup. The analogy to the real game is ill relevant imo as fantasy players vs real life are two different things. Players get points for yards in fantasy so how does that link to real life? If kickers are so important in real life and should be in fantasy why does no one draft them first? I pick up a new kicker every week pretty much just to prove that point. Things don't have to match and that is ok Imo. But I'll always do what the league votes on.

You know you suck when you get blown out by the team that loses survivor

a wrap on week 5 barring any stat corrections!

bada bing sneaks by possum to avoid survivor elimination - meaning possum is out.
Bada bing definitely on the right side of variance so far - 10th in points and tied for first. (Not surprisingly has the lowest points against)

willie has the points lead, followed by shale who has been on the wrong side of variance at 2nd in points and at 2-3 ( not surprisingly with the highest points against.

Still a long way to go and everyone definitely in it.

survivor eliminations:
Cy, chop, bbock, 401k, possum

Week six sans both top RB's, might be my turn to exit survivor

And there are no free agents to help, although I may have benefited from the injury lottery
