No Kawhi, no problem.
Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, as crazy as this may sound, the LA Clippers are better versus the Dallas Mavs without Leonard.
In games one and four without Kawhi, the Clippers jumped out on the Mavs in both games, up 27 in the first half of game one and up 31 in the first half of game four.
They won both.
The Mavs won games two and four with Kawhi in the lineup, 96-93 in LA and 101-90 in game three in Dallas.
Now tied at 2-2, the pivotal game 5 happens tonight.
No getting around the fact Luka Doncic is banged up playing through that right knee sprain and it's definitely hindering his play.
In game 4 he was 1-9 from behind the arc. Not exactly the Luka were used to as his Mavs battled back from down 31 down to take a 105-104 lead.
That's when Paul George hit the ridiculous 3 and James Harden was unstoppable in the last 1:30 as the Clips held on for the win.
For my dollar, I just don't see how much the Mavs have in the tank from the game four comeback and near miss.
They looked absolutely drained walking off that court on Sunday and yes, they have had 2 full days rest but guess what, so have the Clippers.
I don't trust them laying this kind of number tonight. I just don't.
Don't be surprised to see the Clippers win the game outright.
