Gents,

Are we going to do Rx Fantasy one more time? This has to be the 11th or 12th season, right?

My buddy Chris and I are in. I MAY also have another 2 players if we want a 10 or 12 team league this season.

I’m in. I contacted Adam and he’s ready to set it up again. We probably will need any other players you can round up Artie.

Looks like we have six so far with the season starting this Friday, (for just two teams) . The real start to the season is next Tuesday which gives us time for a draft next Monday 10/11. I’m surprised Feddz hasn’t responded. Florida Destroyers interested in playing again?

Artie
Chris
Adam
Vic

Looks like I'm in. Wish we could get to 10 at least if not 12.

Crickets around here. Sad to see what it’s become over the years.

Still would like at least two more players. Draft is set for Thursday, 10/6 at 7:00est. Is that okay with everyone?

Sure. Later always a little better, but I can make 700 work.

Unfortunately it appears we’re stuck on 8 participants again this year. Do you guys still want to do this anyway? If so I believe you should all have my info for the post up. If not now’s the time to chime in. Draft is tomorrow.

I can see if I can get two other players. Even with 8 I say we still do it.

Coincidentally, Vic, I am headed out to Las Vegas as I type this. Will be there until Sunday night.

If we can get a tenth player, I have a friend who is in and would be the ninth player. Coincidentally, his name is also Chris S, like my other friend Chris.

My 10 year old son, who is a hockey guru, wants to buy in (with my money of course). However, I have a feeling his old man (yours truly) will end up eating the entry fee after he decides to abandon his team in November because it isn’t as exciting as Xbox or his iPad.

Also, can I propose a change? This is a change I’ve proposed in the past, but thought I’d check again.

Instead of $125, can we make it $150 so that the extra $25 per player / extra $250 in total (for 10 teams) is used to pay the winners of each stat category $25 for leading the league in a particularly stat?

This way if someone is out of the playoffs by January they don’t just mail it in and say “forget this” and leave the lineups unchanged for months and/or abandon their team late in the season.

This can cause (and has caused) someone vying for playoff spot from either getting in when they perhaps may not have if the non-playoff contender remained competitive or vice versa (keeping someone out who, down the stretch, doesn’t face the guy who mails it in and/or abandons his team). At least if the non-playoff contenders can remain interested and still possibly make a few bucks, it can potentially benefit all.

How about drafting Monday night since Artie is going to be in Vegas and full schedule starts Tuesday, minus the two games in Europe.

Sounds like we currently have nine, I’ll see if I can get anyone and we can shoot for 10-12. I’m in either way, but 10-12 is better than 8.

I’m fine with Artie’s recommendation, I’m good either way.

I am good with Monday draft, and if we can get 10, that would be great. I will still play with 8.

I’m all for this as well. Monday night draft is fine for me as well.
