This just in from Adam.

I'll chime in after work. I won't be able to draft after Saturday night. I leave early Sunday morning for a trip to Denver and I will only have access to wifi and I won't be available in the evenings. I will be back a week tomorrow if that could work.

Can we just move the draft to 10/17 and skip the first week? It would give us some time to try and get one or three more teams to get to 10 or 12.

Thoughts?

I'm ok with this, I'll just have to figure out how to setup the league. Do we count points already acquired? or do we just start from the 17th going forward.

I am ok with 10/17 or later. I am also ok with point system either way.

The later draft date allows us to recruit more players.

good with category winner, 10/17 draft also. I do think our playoffs should end 2 weeks before the end of the hockey season though. A lot of NHL teams packed it in last year or sat high profile players leading up to playoffs.

Alright I have Fantrax all setup for tomorrow.

I have the season starting on the 17th. Since it's a Heads up weekly match up, not much sense in using the first period since we can't edit the lineups. The regular season will begin on the Monday October 17th(stats from the 17th will count) and end Sunday April 2nd, with a 4 team playoff running 2 weeks starting April 3rd. Please take this into account when drafting your team.

Draft will start at Monday October 17th, at 10:00pm EST. 8 Team snake draft with order being randomized by Fantrax.

I don’t follow you here. The NHL regular season ends 4/13. I thought the idea was to shorten our regular season earlier so we’re not stuck with numerous players sitting out. That last week is a bust fantasy wise.

Can we end our season a week before, 3/26/23? Our regular season would end on 3/12.

Assuming we only have eight players and still want to pay $25 for each category we would need to add $31.25. Total from each player would be $156.25.

1st $450
2nd $250
3rd $150
Presidents trophy $150
$25 for each category won

Does that sound acceptable? I believe you all have the address to send funds. I’m heading out of town on Wednesday so please get them in before. Thanks.
