Analysis:
ROTATION #918 MLB (3%) ML LISTED. We won with the Angels yesterday. They fell behind 5-0 but scored 8 straight runs, capped with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 9th. That's the type of victory that they can build positive momentum from and we will come back and support them again Monday. Kikuchi is 4-0 with an ERA of 2.43 and 38 strikeouts in 5 “home” appearances against the Rays in his career. Houser has posted strong statistics this season; however, it’s worth noting his 5.84 ERA from last year. Additionally, his recent performances have been inconsistent. In his most recent road start, he surrendered 10 hits and three runs over 4.1 innings, indicating potential vulnerabilities. We feel that the Angels will bring Houser back down to earth on Monday. The Rays have been terrible over the past month. Play on Los Angeles.
