If that’s the case then the big blown up scandal “bounty gate” is a fraud and BS. Yet coaches player got fined , lost jobs etc.You really don’t grasp sarcasm. There’s been a ton of college games that have been fixed that have been documented over the decades but I don’t think pro games will ever be fixed for the simple reason that players make too much money to entice them to throw a game and referees especially in football are basically watched by the eye in sky (replay)
I’m not saying players don’t do stupid things like Greg Williams putting bounties on people it’s still much different than throwing a game, maybe I’m wrong but in order to throw a game I would think you would need to have the QB in on it and I can’t see NFL QB’s throwing games. If that’s the case then the big blown up scandal “bounty gate” is a fraud and BS. Since the players make so much money why would they risk careers taking someone out and disabling them for $1,200? Surely $1,200 wouldn’t make someone end another’s career?
While sometimes it can be hard to tell with some of the crazy shit that is posted on this forum, I am glad my sense of humor is such that I did not need a sarcasm alert before I enjoyed this post by Serbone.a guy I know witnessed the rehearsal of the "Immaculate Reception" they were on a high school field 11 miles away from Three Rivers Stadium until 3:15am the night before.
To fix a game (especially with spreads involved) you really only need a kicker to shank an extra point, and frankly their has never been so many missed over the past few months. Or a phantom flag here and there, which i know all of us has been on the receiving end of (sometimes on the positive end ) if we are far less bet side. all i'm saying is is happened to me and fellow gamblers on more occasions than I can count which is all it takes to lose/win at times in my 40 year career. Its all tied in. Someone explain in 1993 when Jimmy Johnson is down 37-3 with one second on the clock and he sends out the fG kicker with 2 seconds left to kick a 62 yard FG. Oh yes O/U was 4.1.5lol
Are youy that dumb?
Do people understand the idea of fixing a game is you want a guarantee cover
You think you can pay off a kicker and guarantee a cover?
You watch these games and certain scenarios arrise where the cover may depend on a kicker
You think people who fix games hope somehow it would end up with a chance a kicker would be the deciding factor?
FOH
I guess it is possible to have a ref paid off over time to disproportionately make calls to push a game towards your side and win money over time
So, you just bet all the games he refs and you might not win every game but you win more than you lose
But usually people that want fixes look for guarantee big money in an individual game
And it is mostly a college thing
And if I was gonna fix games i would look for a shit college team no one is gonna be watching especially in basketball
Maybe Tarleton St or SIU Edwardsville
As long as that player or twom keeps their mouth shutyou might get away with it
Perhaps, you might want to ask Mason Crosby that kicker question.lol
