Slim- Thanks for your time.

However, individuals not only win.......but year in and year out they show a profit.

Taking a stance and implying nobody wins longterm......, with all due respect,.......... is just not true.

Again, I say this respectfully and do not mean to insult your intelligence. I know your a very intelligent fellow.

Maybe slim is a sharp guy, but that's still a mind boggling bad statment for him to say people don't win in the long run.

I simply have to drop his gaming power rating a full 10 points when he makes a statement like that. Where has he been the last 10 years? On an Island?

LOL, thanks guys.

I am a kid though so you're half right :p

I only have about 6 or 7 years experience, so who knows, maybe Ive just been lucky enough to create the opinion that almost no one walks away a winner in the long run. Out of 100 players, how many do you think win, in the long run.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

I would guess 5

SLIM- From strictly a MONETARY FINANCIAL standpoint, your comment has no truth whatsoever.

Fish, what truths do your comments hold?

Maxdemo, maybe they have a different group of people there now but I would never work for the guys that were there when I was there again in my life.

They made bootcamp look like Disney World...

Slim, trust me you will never win a debate with Fishhead, even in the best circumstance.

Hey Slim, care to elaborate on the SBG statement you made? Were you really in a bootcamp Slimmy?

What would you be doing Slim if you weren`t a sportsbook owner, err rep lol? Did I say owner ? <kidding>

Lots of naysayers on the other side of the counter.

Like I have mentioned many times before, be corteous with these types but always consider them the enemy.

Thanks for bumping this up, pretty good read. I was doing business sdb at the time and hey came throuh with what htey owed me, did they stiff anyone at that time? I know they have had some issues with a few, including shrink, over the years. I really enjoyed some of their reps "gabby, oscar, and felix)

very cool interview.......

the Derby horse story is amazing.

Fish will be a lifelong winner gambling. the slight % he gets (positive expectation wagers) on almost each and every wager insure of that.

Another great Journeyman thread.

Interesting read Slim, thanks.

I don't agree on no one making money stance (agreeing with Fishhead, I am scared ;) ), but I think Slim has mainly booked recreational action. Is great to hear there are so many losers overall. Someone has to lose to keep the industry in cash so they keep letting us bet. If someone is purely recreational, I agree is very tough to come out ahead overall in a lifetime (has to be less than 1%).
