The Trial participant may give us a clue (if released). There are not a lot of FDA pumps out there approved for HHD. Less than 4? And there seems to be several reasons why those that are available, aren't necessarily a great choice, for the fast approaching paradigm shift.
IDK..You look at the only analyst who made a call on this, he didn't pull someones" reorganization" and spectral being at the table with that company outa thin air..he was told someone, wanted it known and in his report...Very "Spectral" way of releasing info. What I'm saying, is do they ever do a trial? or has some potential buyer had the pump since 2021 like ARC? Wouldn't you hand out pumps to the bigs for a test run?..Gambling site analogy/ Spectral didn't hedge against reorganization , didn't have another option on running a trial while companies like DaVita shop and or partnered with someone like Medtronic...DaVita is running that trial but I think they know what they have already ..less value in something unapproved...sorta works, don't you think? I'd also add doing another financing in Canada..NO.

Sitting pretty...if the two machines work up to their billing (as you say). Might be an opportune time to spin-out Dialco to Spectral shareholders. Just a speculative thought. AGM days away...also a good time for some news. (DIMI trial partner, Dialco partner or spin-out, PMX Trial numbers update - post Covid control of ICUs, SAMI quantification, etc.)

I hope they sell it,I'm not sure I'd trust them spinning this off ..I'd like a one time dividend ...IDK if I'd stick around for the 2+ years I see on the filter till approval

I don't follow what you are saying exactly. You mean Braun/ Medtronic speculation by Analyst? I agree that it could have been a way to subtly release something (a hint), while still being tight-lipped. I am inclined to believe that the Dialco piece cold be sold pre-Trial (hence the recurring start-date delays). That's kinda why I'd prefer a spin-out first, in order to add shareholder value. Do I take it that you believe that Dialco machines are in the running with the Medtronic/DaVita JV? I don't believe they have picked a horse (machine) yet, or did I miss something.
Finally, the SP rise could indicate another financing - unless a deal for Dialco is in the works.(with some cash infusion for Spectral and it's slow PMX Trial). Also possible that Baxter kicks in the second installment early, although not sure what they would get out of doing so.

Sold pre-Trial for sure ...without that, Yes, another financing is coming. Baxter would assume they go outa biz before making a milestone early ...it's not a great relationship even though one of the Baxter executive's mother was saved by PMX..true story.
IDK what to believe here honestly..I think anything could happen, it wouldn't surprise me if this part of the saga ends sometime this year..(Being the pump).

They will need to refill the coffers before too long. The CEO is highly conservative that way (likes a comfortable cash stash). If there is a deal had on the pumps, it needs to happen sooner than later, in order to avoid another dilutive financing. Although slightly less dilutive now, given the recent run.
The other question is whether they can negotiate a decent price on the pumps pre the Home component (DIMI) FDA approval. Although DIMI is approved in hospitals and clinics, and SAMI is fully approved and will now start to be used in clinics. In other words, is the ultimate sale price significantly higher with an FDA bow around everything? Based on past valuations of NxStage and Tablo, there is potentially very big money on the line. The ARC validation should help with negotiations.

Higher for sure but by how much?
One thing I do know DaVita has all the info on the pump they would need to assure in their minds it'll get approval..I don't have any doubt they hold one and have since before ARC did.
But I agree the longer this drags the less likely..One thing spectral would want to avoid is a situation like the Next stage wait for gov approval.
I think it would be a very complicated deal given Newco's and DaVita's new relationship and the fact the fed will be all over this.
Who knows? I don't see a lot of options for the new venture looking for a pump ,they need one badly for both to move forward in Newco.

enjoyed chatting..have a good one.
Likewise Bozzie.
Quick follow-up point...you are correct that the FTC took awhile to approve NXStage acquisition, so Fresenius can't be a player (IMO). However the powers that be, might welcome an opportunity to somewhat level the playing field...by strengthening the competition...especially with Outset faltering.

And it's gone ! (for now)
Good week overall, so far.I'm not unhappy coming from .29, price looks perfect for a financing. its inevitable without someone coming along in a partnership. Market closed Monday, AGM coming up, I also think they have a presentation, it'll be better to come clean before you need to avoid the questions. It wouldn't shock me if they announce something in the AM. I just hope they didn't do a deal last week in the 30's. That would look bad, be bad and piss me off.

Financing deals are usually done at an 10 or 20 day weighted average SP. The recent activity certainly would lift that number. I agree that a deal in the 30's would be very problematic. Vincenza presentations attended by Kellum are now over. AGM Monday. I agree it's better to announce pre-AGM if there is something to announce.

It seems like the partners on the DIMI Trial are mostly confirmed, but not yet disclosed (see Sedar). This should be interesting. One wonders if the biggest participant will also jockey for a preferred position on Trial completion (i.e. cough up some funds to help defray Trial costs ala Baxter w.r.t. PMX)

You'd be looking at a partnership at that point, it would depend on the equity involved..I'd rather them not give this away cheap (IE 5 Million Baxter)..for the first time in a while I'd be okay issuing more paper and not parse out Dimi to anyone whos going to control where this ends up finally and @ what price. Spinning it out? I'd like as long as its a sale and not a second company .
I believe more deals are coming..nothing final but building blocks...it's more waiting but I do think things are coming around. I like Sam A and wonder about Seto's ability and confidence as the head.
IDK man, anything could happen,..good AGM over all.

Also my buddies questions got answered about Medtronic/DV and the Quantum raise amounts...
Might have been the most reveling part of the call.

I thought that the presentation, once you went through it, provided some important clues. Overall I wasn't as impressed with the AGM. I thought many answers were a bit too non-specific, and often dismissive of the question. I see that as Seto's style. But I do agree that, reading between the lines, there is some progress being made, both on the Tigris Trial front (after an excruciatingly slow uptake through Covid), and landing the final DIMI Trial participants. Frustrating that it's Q4 before the first patients are enrolled.

Question was are you in negotiations with Newco/DV? Sam basically said he talks with DV frequently and has a great past relationships at DV..Newco,(unnamed co.) he said wasn't fully formed yet but is on the spectral radar. Punted a bit but it was addressed.

The quantum question was how can Quantum raise 275 million and why is raising money here aa problem.
Sam again answered and in short said raising capital won't be a problem be it public or private..it's when and how.
