They literally refuse to tell me what the rake is..lol

The first reply to my simple question "How much is the rake on pick6?"
DraftKings takes a percentage of winnings from every contest that is often in the 10% range.

So I replied with ...."ok but EXACTLY what is the rake on pick6?"

Thank you for contacting us once more, I'll be happy to help.

For those that are not familiar with pick6 , it is a peer to peer contest based upon picking 2to6 "team" parlays on individual player performances props
(Davis over/under 10.5 rebounds in a game for example)
Unlike Prizepicks and FanstasyUnderdog who offers fixed odds on prop parlays
DK pick6 acts as a parimutual pool where odds can vary.

Guy is hopelessly cheap/flat busted..

Something he posted a while back on his road trip to Biloxi Mississippi..he was sharing motel beds with his "buddies" type broke.

Not a big deal but telling in a few ways.

Been testing it out for the last couple weeks or so.

They wont tell you the rake so I can only use experience to guess that its likely AT LEAST 15 percent and perhaps even 20percent or more.
The average 2 team parlay would normally pay around 2.6 to 1 in a Sportsbook , it is averaging 1.5 to 1 since I have been playing.

The payouts end up being too low in the parimutual format....Sometimes that is from bad lines that never change, so the sharper people hit them and when they come in TOO many people have winning tickets.....You have to go contrarian for bigger payouts and those odds would pay MUCH better in a traditional sportsbook setting.

A casual player who is just making picks off the board without spending time to research EVERY SINGLE offering on a slate to find mistakes/stale lines is going to get slaughtered.

I will continue to play it whenever they offer NO SWEAT bonuses ( the ONLY thing that makes it palatable for now )....which has been ALMOST everyday, but this is a Carnival Game at best.

For examples..... I won today but feel like I lost...these payouts are ridiculous

Remember that the "winnings" displayed include the original bet

This 3 teamer barely paid over 4-1.....This one is not ALL that bad becasue the lines were about 2points off on each player's fantasy points scored.

This 2 teamer only paid about 1.3 to 1, pretty yucky.....It tells me there were quite a few bad lines in MLB and there were lots of winning combinations today.

Here is a bogus win.....about 2 to 1 on a 3 teamer

They need to figure out a way to make the lines more equitable if this concept is going to take off......I know they have to structure rules to fit state gambling laws but cant see how this takes off with these kinds of payouts.

Well they FINALLY are giving out rake information and it is even worse than I thought.

They return $1000 for every $1298 they take in.

Regular DFS large field tournments are around $1000 return for $1180-1200 in fees

No wonder they can afford to give out so many freebies and no sweat bets....:+money-8+
