well #1 NEVER want the guy that gets a bunch of legislation passed. As Ron Paul famously said...vote for the guy that only supports bills for less govt control, not more. that was Jim Jordan who rarely sponsors or co-signs to any legislation and when he does (Secure the Border Act) he will never get the necessary RINO support. #2 he ranks as the most economic conservative legislator in more than 3 decades according to the DW-NOMINATE model which tallies the voting record of any bill that involves taxpayer funding.
and i'd always prefer the guy bringing these deep staters into Congress to put their answers on the official record over the 90% of GOP that sits around and does nothing.
all of this, of course, is exactly why he will never be the Speaker and why a 10-termer like McHenry will take the reins
