So McCarthy gets the boot from Trump allies (even though Trump originally endorsed McCarthy), while the new interim Speaker kicks her out - another "hit and run".

If you want to expose and REALLY "drain the swamp" sometimes you have to test loyalties and set traps. But who is to say McCarthy isn't playing both sides anyway, ultimately aligned with Trump?

Trump is currently out of office (optically) with his govt on "Pause" - all that matters is EXPOSING THE SWAMP. Meaning, things have to look VERY BAD (optically) before he comes back as the hero hitting the ground running. Yes, even if it means the GOP taking a few hits in the short term. So be it.
"Draining the swamp" means Patriots are playing the long game.
So if you're keeping score with traditional political party pats (as some of you are) you are in for a very rude awakening.
