kan/hou over 47 (-1.05)...

kansas will score on this bunch and hou will keep flinging the entire game. i see one team in the 30's and the other in the 20's.. also got to like the overs in the early bowl games..

I do not agree with less games more $ on each game. If you have an edge be it 53% or 60% it is still a profitable formula. Not sure when you say increase $ on each game what % of bankroll you are talking about? The fewer the games you play the less reliable your % are> if you have a system that hits 55% but you only play 10 games a week, your standard Deviation off of 55% is much higher then , 30 games a week, at least in the short run.You actually get more reliable outcomes the greater the # of trials. Using a system that hits at 55% over 1000 games is more likely to hit 55%, then 55% over 200 games.

I make the same amount of plays I always did. Losing is a good teacher. However the amount I bet on most games is rather low. The more experience I get in a certain type of betting the more money I put on those games.

For example, I've just now started betting college baskets. I only bet maybe $10-$25 on each game. Not very stressful if I win or lose. But once I get to know some of the aspects of the sport I will increase my bets on the factors I am familiar with.

SSI stay disciplined...that the short fall of playing a game a day.There are days where you are not sure of your pick so you pick a couple of more games to cover yourself...next thing you know your back playing 3-7 games a day.But I think you have the right approach which I am going to try after the first of the year.

jwunderdog, to each his own.. i am playing about 2.5% per play and this is the first time that i have flat bet nickels... i have always been a 100-200 player...

ill tell you this, i will do better at 1 game for 500 than 5 games for 100..

I have my play turned in for today, and now im off to spend the day working out and last minute shopping,,, i do not care who wins the cbb games today or the nba games... suddenly all that has been removed from my table.. i have also reduced a lot of exposure offshore.

SSI, the key to what I was posting is hitting 53%, if you have a proven system that hits 53% or better the more plays the better. Very, Very few have systems that hit 53% over the long haul , it is usually closer to 50% so the more plays you play the more juice you lose.

By the way 2.5% I think is aggressive but not overly so. If you are hitting over 54% the odds of you busting through a cold spell is very, very low.GL, to each his own as long as it works.

well my goal is to play 43 plays per month max, hitting 60%... this gives me a 26-17 record for a profit of over $3600 per month ---------and this is plenty good enough for me..

In the last two days I've noticed your buying points Bears -6 1/2 -20 and Nevada -2 1/2 minus big vig.(when you posted or the 3's that were highly available)If you want to be a Pro,or do this for a living your going to have to do your homework and grab those pick-um's (Nevada) or 3 1/2 or 4's (Bears) early in the week.Otherwise you have NO CHANCE of making it professionaly.
Good luck,everyday in your quest but I see lots of flaws in your "policy". You can figure out the rest of your flaws.Dedication will naturally teach you flaws.But waking up in the morning and making bets just wont do it. From a person who has tried both it makes virtually no difference.

Less risk betting more plays but if you go cold it's the same as putting it all on one or two plays.

The best strategy to not lose is just to quit gambling.

thx for the comments fellas... i have done this since 1986 in almost every imaginable way, so im hardly new to this... of course getting the best number is always the way to go but with this strategy, i am looking no farther than the current day....

i wont stop this until i lose money..... for anyone thats followed my posts for any amount of time, ive tried many things but have lost money at very few of them...

SSI submits: look at it this way, if you bet 5 games for 500 each and i bet 1 game for 500, you would need to go 4-1 to make more money than me (if i went 1-0).. 3-2 dont get you there.. 1-0 is better..

SH: So you need to go 100% to make more money than my 60% (3-2).

Which is harder?
