I know Rainbow. I will never be the best, the smartest, richest or even the best capper. I just grind along trying to remain consistently profitable. I try to be the best father and husband I can be, and a good friend. Not too lofty of ambitions. It depresses Greenhead that I get lazy and comfortable. I learned that lesson long ago. You always meet someone better than yourself. I have so many other things to worry about, like who is going to cover tonight?, I have little time for delusions of greatness. To be completely honest, I would rather be fishing.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

Wish I was financially stable enough to do nothing but fish, evenings/early mornings.

It is my life's passion...Best place to find inner peace, rid myself of bettosis. After a day or two, in the early morning, watching the sun come up on the water, then at night, watching it set, and the fish starting to pop on the surface, my mind clears to reset mode. It's pure, no referees, no excuses. The fish is fighting for his life, just therapy for me. Catch and release. Costa Rica looks like an excellent fishing destination. Maybe Arenal. Possibly up by Rio Colorado, maybe slink into Nicaragua. Would like either coast of Canada, Alaska also. One place at a time.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

I'm ready, East or West, fished both Vancouver/Victoria and other side Halifax, or more precise Shearwater. People were just great. I am a pretty humble guest and showed respect for all I met. Was really treated well. Caught a lot of nice fish. Did well in Puget Sound also. Lot of nice Salmon, Silvers and Kings. Plenty of crab. I am losing focus thinking about it. St. Joe's just adds to the dog and over parlay string. Back to work.

Rainbow you seem a little twisted of late. Every book at one point or another has booted a sharp. Taking stabs..... in/out is always a concern for books. Using a sharps info near gametime usually is not beneficial. Sharps are a pain........the thought of having to wait for them to come in with plays can be very time consuming and stressful. Books hang #'s to be played...some action may not be liked.

I"m sure not going to learn something from you. you have no clue about booking thats for sure, when someone makes a statement like you made yesterday. they have a total of 11 NBA games today, just remember one thing that you are clueless of any book that has a big business can make a list what games they are going to go in with tonight, you and every Tom, Dick, and Harry cant stop that. Spiro had a reason why he cut you off. he"s sharper than you can think about betting, I"m not talking about him booking either. he cut you off because it was March, I cant buy that unless your name is God. I learned this along time ago whenever you hear people bragging about how smart they are, thats the ones you can book with a cigar box with no money in it. I know alot of successful betters, not one I ever heard say how smart they are,the ones that keep there mouth closed and their ears opened thats the ones that are successful.

Again I'd like to have my possibly naive thoughts refuted...

If I manage my lines properly, then how on earth can I have a game time line that's susceptible to sharp attack? The only time I would hang anything remotely resembling a soft number is when I'm lopsided in which case the sharp is doing me a favor by selling me an insurance policy that I'm glad to buy.

I think you have no clue what you are talking about, unless you are God and you have all the answers, I kinda doubt it seriously. I"ve been around Sharps for about 17yrs. nothing you can tell me about sharps.

Darryl excellent post as always. Hard to believe any BM is happy when so-called "sharps" take a piece of the pie with their long term winning.

Rainbow I have no clue? Keep drinking. Your 51 correct? Less 17 yrs of knowing sharps would make you 34 when beginning your path to sharpness. Late bloomer.......I'm hear to learn not preach. Reread your posts in this thread and you'll find confusion.

Then I guess not moneylines either because what I said applies to those too...is it along the lines of promos, special deals or bonuses etc? If so, then I can see what you mean. If it's something else then I'm totally confused but probably I'm better off this way...

I know I dont know it all. the only thing I can say I do know, if Spiro wants to put his self on the sides you bet him on he can, thats my whole arguement with you. and I"m far from knowing it all. but lets just say I"m not looking to learn anything from you that I"m 100% sure of. best of wishes.:howdy:

Bearding and how it... should be done.

Can anyone care to briefly comment on how one would beard?

I mean do you get yourself another identity and then open another neteller account? or do you get other people involved?

Max,

Bearding by definition involves someone else, usually a very big player who needs help to get all his action down because he likes to bet much more than the limit. In exchange for helping him, you get paid. From a book's perspective this is nothing more than players forming partnerships for the purpose of exceeding their limits. Usually the rules will state that this is not allowed, but it is often hard to prove.

Pinnacle has the antedote because their software automatically adjusts the line after every single (significant) play, and players are profiled so the line moves more for some players than others. Against this system, using beards or being a beard are losing propositions. Other books have not implemented such an effective antedote yet either because it's too expensive and complicated, or because they feel they can control the few isolated incidents manually.

This is how I see it anyway...I've never bearded or used beards, just common sense and observation on my part. If I made a mistake in the above, I'd appreciate it if someone in the know would point it out...
