I don't sell my picks, nor have ever claimed to be a great capper.

I just do well playing teasers.

It would not hurt for you to lose the attitude boss. Your response to me was completely uncalled for.

I feel like I posed a reasonable question. Thus, I stand by my post. I feel your response is very defensive and frankly don't understand why someone with your stellar record would be so touchy.

I refuse to be baited into a silly forum fight over your 90%/100% teaser winnings. Obviously, you are looking for trouble and frankly, I predict you are 90% likely to find it. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you, the trouble will have to be with someone else.

Best wishes for the New Year and much luck with your teasers, even if you don't need it.

There is so much misinformation in this thread its ridiculous -- people who say teasers are bad bets, people who say they're good but have no clue what they're doing, someone claiming to hit 90% of each leg who probably doesnt even know how to caluclate the win percentage of said leg for a +100, -105, or -110 teaser.

If you're new and want to learn basic strategy on these pick up Sharp Sports Betting by Stanford Wong. There are subsets within the typical basic strategy teaser that can be used to isolate sides with higher hit rates as well.

In any event, this thread is rife with bullshit.

I echo docdekay's thoughts. pick up sharp sports betting whether you want to learn about teasers or other facets of the NFL and sports wagering in general. it's worth it. a lot of it is basic info, but there are some chapters that will help you get the money slightly more often than you may otherwise.

now, there is a downside to teasers (like everything else). On Sunday, I had a teaser of Jacksonville wheeled with Seattle, Miami and the Jets. 0-3. Ouch. it has been that kind of year.

of all the posters here on this site - i think i have been the most outspoken on it. i ahve stated NFL teasers are OK

wild bill's article, though DOES NOT mention college teasers - and i wish it would have (i spoke to fezzik and he said he would do one on hos stupid it is to tease CFB games - and hopefully he will some year). if you tease a college game - plain and simple - YOU ARE A MORON!

better yet - the books are enternally grateful to you for in the long run you are costing yourself so much money it would blow your mind.

i just shake my head at people who post CFB teasers - then expect us all to chime in with replies of "great pick man - i agree with you" when people should be replying, "you MORON - how could you be so stupid to tease CFB games!" in the CFB forum "sal" - who supposedly is some 20 year "expert" posted how he teased the fresno and toledo sides monday - and wanted us to congratulate him for doing it. he lost this teaser due to toledo - and thus made a bad bet (and for someone with 20 years experience - he should know literally rule #1 of teasing is DON'T CROSS THE LINE - as in DON'T tease a fave to a dog - which he did with toledo). if a 20 year "expert" could make a dumb pick like this is it is understandable how people of lesser experience do that here. ever see shrink post a college teaser? me, neither. shrink is smart enough to know teasing CFB is STUPID!

in a perfect world - jennifer garner and i get married and people who have even the slightest clue of how to bet CFB games DO NOT tease them. of the 2 - i have a MUCH better chance with jenn.

Teasing Stuff.

Agree, and just read Wong's Sharp Sports Betting.

By the way, there are more than a few "experts" out there that don't have a clue (not a clue!) how to bet teasers. Heck, they even (gulp) tease both sides of the same game.

And you wonder why the house holds 8% in Nevada!

:WTF:

My NFL teasers usually win 90 percent of the time.

.

WOW..You must be RICH....90% is sweet.....Whats your secret ??

I m only at 18% this year for all my picks...Im easy prey for someone to take me on in a contest...hint hint....especially someone who bats 90% like yourself....

On a serious note...Key numbers are all that matter in TEASERS...Covering these, throws all those other numbers out the window.....

The only teasers that I thinkk that are worth playing are 3 TEAM and 2 TEAM 7 POINTERS.....covering numbers like -7 to pk....+3 to +10....+8 t0 +15....-4 to +3...etc....

There is NO way anyone can say that these are bad bets....Covering wrong numbers and teasing hoops is what loses you money..........

This is what I look for when playing teasers.

2 team 6 pts at even

3 team 7 pts at 11/10 or 11.5/10

Hard to come by but if you do that is the numbers you are looking for.

Did someone actually post they are hitting 90% of their teaser bets? He could not of meant both sides are hitting and he is cashing 9 of 10 tickets.

Thank you for posting the teaser prices.
I myself am not a fan of teasers. Local maker here getting killed on 2 team 6 point teasers @11/10. So he is getting the best of the price but, as you well know, makes No difference what you lay as long as it wins.
