I really like this over spot in the Bruins game tonight. The Flyers have been horrible at keeping the puck out of their own net. The Bruins offense has really woken up the last couple weeks. The Bruins got over their Covid issues and Cassidy shook up the lines. That has paid off really well for the Bruins this month. Tuukka Rask is making his first start of the season tonight. He didn't get a chance to play any warmup games in the AHL due to both games being postponed. I expect their to be some rust from Rask which will benefit Philly's offense. The Flyers get Giroux and Provarov back in the lineup tonight as well. Boston will absolutely get a boost from having their guy back between the pipes. I think this is a great over spot.

Wow, I am taking some bad beats tonight. Three goals in the final eight and a half minutes of the Lightning game capped off by a goal with 1:16 left. Then, I lose my bet on the over in the Bruins game. Flyers had a 5 on 3 for a minute followed by a minute of a traditional power play. They couldn't find the back of the net. Then the Flyers pulled their goalie with 3:30 left and they didn't score nor did the Bruins get an empty netter. Marchand had a chance to score with 2 seconds left, but got bumped into the net and the puck slid away as time expired.
I still have a chance for a positive night if I can sweep the other 3 games. The under looks favorable in the Islanders game, but my other totals looked good at this point in those games as well.

Yesterday 3-2/YTD: 112-114, -4.4
On one hand, I am disappointed that I didn't have a big night. I was very close to a 5-0 night, which would have flipped me to over 5 units of profit for the season. On the other hand, I started off the night 0-2 and was able to turn a small profit. I will happily take that and try to have another positive day tomorrow. It is a small card, but I will probably have a play or two, especially with Colorado in action. Their overs just keep hitting despite the total typically being 6.5.

As long as you can get this total under 7, I would take it. I see some books have a little more juice than -120. I would lay -130 or -135. This isn't a "sharp" play by any means. Colorado should put up a big number on Arizona, as they have on plenty of other teams recently. Their over's are now 23-7-3 this season. Sign me up for another one.

Every favorite won across the league yesterday except for the Oilers. That’s a trend that is unlikely to continue. I also like Vancouver bouncing back from yesterday afternoon’s loss to Carolina. Obviously, you have to pick your spots with underdogs against better teams. I think this is a good one for Vancouver, as Washington had lost 4 straight before a 2-0 win over the Islanders yesterday.
