The Big 10 was only slightly better than the WAC, once again about 2% better. If you dump one lousy team, San Jose St, then the conferences would have been about even.
People can diss the WAC all they want, but it
was a damn good conference this year. Computer rankings put the Wolfpack in the mid 20s overall. That is a huge value for a team that is a 10 seed. If they can summon their "A" game for Gonzaga they could make it all the way into the Elite 8. They are an excellent value, a strong mid-major team which will play with nothing to lose.

am going with:
Charlotte +100 on the M/L
i have made it a point to pick AGAINST bob knight in the ncaa until i am shown a reason not to. i haven't seen a reason not to do so here - so i will pick against "the general" - especially since dick vitale loves tech and knight.
