Green Bay by 8...

Week 1 Minnesota W
Week 2 Carolina W
Week 3 St.Louis W
Week 4 Kansas City W
Week 5 Green Bay -2.5 ?

I am not fading Jman here but I am looking very hard for Seattle plus 3. I doubt I will ever find it. I still like the Seahawks to win the game on the field. Best bet - Seahawks ML plus 125 (Pinnacle). I see a serious difference in overall team speed. These teams are headed in different directions. Look for Head Coach Mike Holmgren and new Def. Coordinator Ray Rhodes to come in very ready to handle Farve and the old Packer offense. Rhodes' defense is a tournover producing hard hitting force, similar to Eagles Defense of late. On offense, Shaun Alexander will run well for the Seahawks. Matt Hasselback needs to protect the ball, which he has done very well so far with only 1 int in three games. Bottom line is there is a new sheriff in the NFC West. The Seattle Seahawks.

Are we counting the Chicago game as a game Green Bay played last week? LOL, i thought that was a scrimmage that ABC just happened to show....I considered the rest Seattle has had more than Green Bay traveling to Illinois...But Green Bay @ home less than 3? Against the Seahawks who I am still not sold on the QB...Is Favre going to let Holmgren get out with a W? I was going to go with New England @ home as my game of the week, but the Brady injury situation, not so sure....

Green Bay will start to get hot and get back in the hunt with a win here, and Seattle returns back to being, well Seattle....The Rams should have beat Seattle outright but blew it late! Seattle is still unproven and this is a huge road game....

TENN.(-1) can't see this TENN team being as accommadating as WASH was last week against this decimated team.............injuries can be overcome in the short run over weak (WASH) teams , but against quality opponents (TENN), too many injuries, to so MANY key plyrs on both sides of the ball, will cost you W's.........the L'S continue this week in New England ..............

Ahman Green is a fine runningback, Lambeau field is a tough place to beat the home team...Green Bay was not as healthy as they are now when they lost in Arizona...Wil you know as well as anyone ,one team can win big at a given place then turn around and lose to the same team that lost big at the same place....Good Luck to you as always!

Favre is a streaky "in the zone" QB, he is now in that zone I think....Plus its a road game for Seattle, FAR FAR AWAY...

Any NFL game you can make a case for either side if you try hard enough...

Seattle ML is my best bet of the week. Green Bay is overrated in my opinion. They've got confidence following Rams win, coming off a bye, and are jelling offensively and defensively. Think they could win easy.

Favre has good history at home against ood defenses. GB is 28-8-3 ATS in Favre's career when laying 11 points or less.

Seattle has a +13-1 turnover ratio this year. Obviously that has helped to date.

Have to side with GB-2 here but not willing to call it the best bet of the week. I'll lay a flat bet though; looks like SEA getting too much respect on this line.

Clarification: GB is 28-8-3 ATS in Favre's career when laying 11 points or less...AT HOME.

I don't have much of an opinion on that Green Bay/ Seattle match-up, it should be interesting, an early season test to see where these two teams really stand. I'd take the Hawks in an upset which will earn them some respect in the NFC this year. Although Green Bay looked great against the Bears, so did the 9ers.
