All these douche bag celebrities like Puff Daddy, Howard Stern, Moore, Clooney, Madonna, etc etc, have NO FUKKIN CLOUT!

They probably hurt Kerry because people don;t like being told who to vote for.

I'm loving this. Hope everyone who threatened to leave the country has the balls to leave for a change.

I think that anyone who said that they would leave the US if Bush wins should be automatically "drafted" into the military and be forced to go fight for their country!:shoota:

As someone who was in the USMC Infantry for six years, the last thing I would want is some spineless liberal with me in battle. He would just get some one killed.

Anyway, the whole draft thing was another lie, that didn't work, to scare the pussies into voting.

I've yet to meet someone that has said that and followed through with it. Not just with Bush but with other candidates and legislative initiatives. It's just a sad fact of life that while people might want change they're reluctant to go through with it because on the inside they like the status quo for the most part. If I said it, I'd do it but that's just me. I don't like to blow smoke.

there is now talk that kerry will take florida. just as i thought, the early exit polls showed kerry way up so they rigged the machines. there are reports of numerous voters saying they pressed for kerry but it displayed bush.

there are a hoard of lawsuits to be filed.

It's true. I would prefer to live in a free country.

Right now, I don't think I can afford to. I think for most places I need to invest $400,000 in a company or something like that to be considered for citizenship. I certainly will be researching it and trying to find out how I can become a citizen somewhere that's free.

It never ceases to amaze me that people equate things that have no relevance to each other and make an analogy to somehow paint themselves as being right somehow. It just shows how much intelligence they lack.

Some will understand this. Others won't. And so it goes.

What I Love Most Is That America Is Now Much Better Off Than It Would Be With The Liberal Clown From Boston In The Oval Office.

As An Aside, I Do Rejoice In The Fact That All Those Silly Jokers Like Michael Moore And Bruce Sprinsgteen And Bon Jovi And Dan Rather And Al Franken And Howard Stern And James Carville And Maureen Dowd Will Hopefully Shut Their Huge Traps For A While.

I think it's funny when people throw out celebrity names and say they have no right to express their opinions and views. Some of these people - not all of them - but some of them, actually have an understanding of the issues and are knowledgeable about who they are supporting. Many of the people who criticise them should take some time and try to educate themselves about issues, when it gets down to it. People get in these forums and post all day long about why they support who they do. Should each of us not talk about why we support someone, or why the other guy is not deserving of a vote? Should they not have become successful and use that celebrity to try to affect change and what they believe in? Each of us do that, in whatever ways we can, right? At the bar, in the office, at the racetrack, in the john, in the posting forums...

And people call liberals communists and socialists. What a joke.

Most Americans still think of the USA as the freest country on Earth. Sadly, though, by any objective measure, this country has lost that distinction. Indeed, by many measures it has become one of the most OPRESSIVE! Need convincing?? Well, since freedom means literally - "lack of restriction or opression", one unbiased way to measure freedom would be to count the laws, regulations, edicts, etc. of each country. Wanna take a wild guess which country has the most? I'll give you a clue - it's initials are U.S.A. It's not even close. And it's getting worse every day. The US puts out more laws, regulations, etc. in one year than most other countries put out in decades.

Still not convinced? How 'bout we measure freedom using another criterion. How about comparing each country's imprisonment rate? Surely Russia, South Africa, or one of those zealot Arab countries leads the world in imprisoning the largest percentage of citizens. Right?? Sorry. It's the good ole USA, once again. Land of the free (??), home of the brave.

What about economic freedom? America HAS TO be the freest country to start a business, doesn't it? Sorry once again. Several independent groups (from both ends of the political spectrum) have rated various countries for their economic freedom and NONE have rated the US higher than 4th. Among the freer are New Zealand, Chile, Luxemburg, Bahrain, Hong Kong and even Singapore, believe it or not.

The real tragedy, though, is that it hasn't mattered over the years which party has been in power!! The rate of imprisonment and the rate of implementation of new laws has increased in every recent Republican AND Democratic Administration. Bush or Kerry - if you TRULY value freedom, it won't make one bit of difference.

I am not saying that the celebrities don't have a RIGHT to express their opinions. I am just happy that the American people don't fall in line with their opinions, like they think they will. The celebs are the ones who were bragging about how everyone would follow them.

The Presidency, the Senate, the House and the Governorships--all under Republican control/majority.

That says alot about whose values and policies this country emphatically support. What a great day!

This is my last post about politics.
