In a follow up to xpandas "you seein' this Bandar".

In a speech delivered before a vast throng of fellow Americans spilling away from the steps of the Capitol, Bush said he would place the nation on the side of the world's oppressed people. "All who live in tyranny and hopelessness can know: the United States will not ignore your oppression, or excuse your oppressors. When you stand for your liberty, we will stand with you."

Now who really thinks he means to include Saudi Arabia?

With a statement like this, I can't help but think it must've been awfully hard for Bush to bite his tongue around the dinner table when daddy turned a blind eye to all those Kurds Saddam was gassing with daddy's and Reagan's Christmas presents.

Bush is nothing more than a cheap piece of hypocritical ass.

"At this second gathering, our duties are defined not by the words I use, but by the history we have seen together. For a half century, America defended our own freedom by standing watch on distant borders. After the shipwreck of communism came years of relative quiet, years of repose, years of sabbatical - and then there came a day of fire."

I'm afraid that was before bush acquired this mighty social conscience.
Before he had his finger on the button.

Really, a mighty social conscious? As a matter of fact I didn't read any any part of his speach about the common muslim practice of slicing clits off...
It's called maintaining freedom, BABY!!!!

FOUR MORE YEARS
FOUR MORE YEARS

Very good speach by Bush.

Ad fücking nauseum. To use 9/11 as an opportunity to force change on the rest of the world (how is it 'freedom' if your help was not wanted, requested, or welcomed??) and to puff up the chest of the mighty military industrial complex is a disgrace to any country that dares to pretend it cares about its people. How many nations will you bomb on the backs of 3,000 innocent American deaths? How many dead Arabs will be enough dead Arabs for you to have satisfied your bloodlust?

What does democracy have to do with fighting groups that have no allegiance to a nation-state?

It's time to push the tactical Nuke button. We'd have 50 years of peace.

9/11 forced changed on how America must preserve human freedom here at home, in God's Country.

Puff up the Chest? GW II went to war with Clintons army, not Reagans.

Disgrace would be not protecting its citizens. Commander in Chief.

How many nation will we bomb - hopefully none, but look at history, not words, and be prepared as the scum will try it again ( another 9/11 ).

No bloodlust here. Just what the terrorist dead and I have a feeling our military may just have to kill a few more terrorists. I have been given the gift of reality.

Not alot of love for Clinton here, so get that first. Second, Clinton was as "in bed" with the MIC as Bush and blah blah blah are. Started getting real cosy under Reagan, no looking back since then.

Go nuts, let them dupe you into glorifying war. You peons get to die while they make a tidy profit. And for what? So someone halfway around the world can vote?

Ask Ireland how well democracy is slowing terrorism there. While you're at it, get Spain on the horn and see if ETA got the memo about elections and all that razzmatazz. Hell, I vaguely remember our own FLQ, and as far as I know Canada was pretty democratic in the '70s.

Democracy and citizens' liberty hardly guarantees the end of terrorism. Step #1 would be to give them less reason to blow you up. So, uh, blowing them up might be construed as a step or two backwards.

Disgrace would be not protecting its citizens.

So you agree that Bush is a disgrace, then?

Game, I asked you this a while ago and didn't get an answer. Have you ever served in the military?

What other reason does a muslim scum need to blow an American or Jew up than the 77 virgins awaiting him in heaven? A generation and a half have been taught nothing but what Saddam and what their lunatic shrines of worship teach them over there in gonnawanna land.

"Self government relies, in the end, on the governing of the self."

I've answered that question no less than 10 times. The answer is YES.
