Just finished the 8 episodes. I had hoped for a different angle on who did it...(deleted for non spoiler) especially given that the book was released just 5 years ago. The JFK conspiracy is just too wierd and with too many threads that could have been explored. But, I still enjoyed it.

i agree,, the angle they took was interesting,, but for sure there was a TON left on the table.

Yeah, that was disappointing. I think King got so far out of his skin, he didnt know how to end it.

It really thought the movie was going to go to this esoteric place as the main character is from Maine where the portal is.....see, there is this really odd story of a sceance of 9 members of blueblood families in a Maine farmhouse in 1952. Two of the people there were the mother-in-law and father-in-law of Ruth Paine, which is the woman with whom Marina Oswald stayed when she separated from Lee. In Ruth Paine's garage is supposedly where Lee hid his rifle. There is just this insane level of intelligence fronts and unique world beliefs around this whole story that makes it fsscinating to me. King could have killed, imo.
