...if you placed an ML parlay on Ind, Phi, Atl, Utah, GSW, LAL and NYK.

Should've placed at least $50 on them for fun. Wow.

You would of won a lot more than 100k if you put $50 on those teams. I was SO CLOSE to hitting my dog parlay. I had a 50 CENT parlay to pay back over 9 GRAND for my 8 teams....here is the ticket to prove it....(This is the only ticket I did too) I had only 3 losses out of my 8 teams. One loss came by one point in OT. The other loss came by only 5 points. Boston was the only game I didn't stand a chance to win. If only I had picked Indiana, Atlanta and Philly in place of my 3 losing teams, this would of been a hit. But yeah, you NEVER want to place $50 on a huge underdog parlay....for several reasons. First reason being that you will actually EXCEED THE MAX payout of the casino by far...so that is just a sucker bet. You want to only bet 50 cents or a dollar. I had one parlay that paid back MILLIONS OF DOLLARS for just a $1 bet. So it's silly to bet anymore than that. And get this! Vegas has a MAX payout of 200 to 1 on any ML parlay! I guess they do this to protect their asses from people who like to bet dogs in their parlays. Because just a $1 bet can pay in the millions, and yes they are not hard to win. I had a $5 bet that paid back $90,000.00 a couple of years back. It was a 7 team underdog ML parlay.

And then imagine if Detroit would of won as well! (I didn't have Detroit in my parlay, but the payout was over +1000) and they only lost
by 1 point! That would of made the parlay payout go up to probably half a million dollars for just a $1 bet or less.

Another reason you wouldn't want to put $50 on these types of bets, is because they are longshots (When I said they were not hard to win, I meant they are not IMPOSSIBLE to win....they are hard for sure, but considering the amount of dogs that win in the NBA on any given night, they are certainly profitable over the long run. I select certain dogs each night in a parlay, based on my own plays, and usually do not contradict each other. This is the best way I've found to win. That is how I hit the $90k for $5 bet. This is more like a lottery system, since it should be used daily, with a very small bet, and just hope that one of the days all of your dogs will hit.

You can always use multiple casinos to get around the limits, but I just think it would be crazy to bet $50 on a huge underdog parlay. I am going to calculate the payout of the 7 teams you posted for $50....Ok according to sportsbet online calculator, it says it would of paid out $280,000.00 for a $50.00 bet.

So, that is a good amount of money. I wouldn't want too much money riding on any one parlay...just because...you know, Vegas getting greedy and all that.

Just to make it clear for my original post- I never won millions of dollars from a $1 bet, but what I meant to say was that I calculated a 10 team underdog parlay once for only a $1 bet, it would of paid out like over 2 million dollars or somewhere around there.
So I was just pointing out how much money you can win for a minimal sized bet.

However, I DID hit the 7 teamer a couple of years back, which paid out almost $20,000 for a $1 bet, or almost $90k for a $5 bet. I don't have any proof of this though. But what I can tell you is that underdogs win all the time. More often than the odds on a parlay say they should. If you parlay certain dogs together you can still win big without having to bet every single team for that day. (I don't recommend parlaying all of them together anymore, because they will usually rig it for at least one favorite to win, to counter anyone using a system like this, so the best way is to select certain dogs and leave out)

Good to know your luck. Might try placing an underdog parlay next year, just to satisfy my need for possible money

I'm not sure a parlay that goes 5-3 constitutes as being 'so close' to winning jmo

My thoughts exactly. Even a parlay that goes 6-1 with the last game being a blowout loss isn't considered close to winning. I've posted various "close to winning" parlays like losing by the hook, a 4th qtr collapse, etc.

Yeah I agree, it wasn't truly "Close" for a normal parlay, losing 3 games is terrible. But I just meant considering that it was an underdog parlay. It was fairly close. The only team that got blown out was Boston. But yeah I've had my share of all those terrible, one game, half point parlay losses. Everyone gets those.

Best of luck in the future the underdog parlays definitely work. And there is no "system" to it, I don't know why I used that word. It's just as simple as parlaying certain dogs together each day.
