Kobe did just as much for his team as Nash did. Nash had a much better

have?? Odom!! Smush Parker?? No thanks.

well bro. whatever the reason when given the chance at HOME the suns shit the bed...so no matter what happens from this point forward they are defined as a team you can "get" at home...whats this deal about playoff intensity does that mean that a team cant focus in the other 82 games?...what a load of shit...suns = early 90's houston oilers and nash = warren moon..pretty to look at but not worth shit when it counts!!! GLTA!

Nash was not the mvp this year, Kobe, Lebron or billups are more desreving, and I hate Kobe but my god, look at the lakers, they are in the playoffs and without Kobe they would not win more than 20 games. It sucks that detroit is such a balanced team, and no one can put up MVP numbers, but who makes bigger shots down the stretch than billups, no one, and Lebron, well enough said even with hughes out he lead his team to the playoffs, I am sorry but NASH is not the best or the most valueable player in the league.

NASH was the best player on a team that has a realistic shot at WINNING IT ALL. Lakers and CAVS no shot to win it all.

If Kobe would play the entire season, like he has in the first two games of the playoffs, I would vote for him. Not only is he scoring over 20 a game, but he is passing very well, finding open players, not forcing shots and playing good defense. He's finally playing like a team-player.

Hell no! Nash is 3rd for goodness sakes! Kobe THEN Lebron. Like gyno said, look at the support Nash had. He doesnt get those assists by passing them to someone like Luke Longley!!!!!! Lebron did way more for his team then Nash did. Kobe took his team on his back in several occasions especially during the playoff runs! WOW! Im glad I had Lakers $ line last night to make up for the stupidity of the voters that got my blood pressure up! LOL

Well...

Either one of them deserved it. Kobe, nash, james, billups, kid,...etc.

What I can't understand though, is why people can't see that the suns are VERY good, have TREMENDOUS potential, but, they go COLD alot of times, and are VERY flaky.

Lakers? They RARELY go cold, and are NOT flaky at all.

Nash definately deserved the award. The supporting cast is not how you judge an mvp guys it is strictly based on your statistics and your team does throughout the season. Based on this, Nash deserved this award. He had better year than the previous year when he won the award. The mvp of the lakers is Phil Jackson. Kobe could not have done it without Jackson and I still don't think the league wants to recognize Kobe for shit stemming from that Rape bullshit. I definately think Kobe could have recieved this award but you cannot say Nash did not deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!1

He did this quite a bit in the regular season also...the problem was none of the scabs he plays with were making shots.

LeBron deserved it over Kobe for sure. Both he and Nash make their teammates better, does Kobe?

For the posters who brought up last night, the voting was done before last night. Nowitzki had just as good a year as Kobe too.

We'll get a good idea of how good Kobe is in these playoffs. Jordan got Luc Longley three rings. Kobe hasn't won one without Shaq.

How many did Jordan win without Pippen?

How mand did Shaq win without Kobe?

We already found out how good Kobe was by leading this team to the playoffs. Look at Kobe's supporting cast. This team is brutal.

Jordan never won anything until his supporting cast was solid and Pippen was an All Star caliber player...all he did was put up ridiculous offensive numbers because he had no one to rely on. Same thing with Kobe this season.

Shaq has been in the Finals without Kobe. If not for Kobe, Shaq would still be in LA.
