Easy buddy, I hope you are right but the yankees have a much easier schedule the rest of the way...the sox and yanks still play six or seven though so if the sox stay hot who knows?

Manny is crushing the ball, but Ortiz is struggling right now. I still think the sox are competing for a wild card and it would have been better for the red sox if the yankees beat anaheim today.

Yanks having offensive problems of late, no regulars hitting .300 right now. Olerud and Clark big drop off at 1st base - 2nd base also weak, and Bernie Williams would not start for many of the better teams around the league.

Nope, this is different. The Yanx are very vunerable. They have no, I repeat no starting pitching. They gave away Conteares for rag arm Loaiza, out of desperation. Now they know he is a rag arm. Already looking to demote him. Thier "ACE" Brown lost again, at home. Mussina, is he ever going to be good again? With weakness all over the field, Giambi done, Williams too old, they look bad. I know they always get to the world series, but they might not even win division. BoSox now have defense and momentum. Always had tons of hitting. Got malcontent Nomar out of clubhouse. I pressed up my Bosox with +9.80 and 9.00 to win it all. Yanx made it to world series last year, I think they regress to first round exit this season. They no longer have Pettitt and the Rocket to push them in post season. Right now I am thinking Cards/BoSox. Best Wishes...OF

What the hell was Lowe still doing in there?! I saw it coming I swear. 2 homers given up with 2 outs. The Red Soxs appear in the same mess as the Yanks as far as pitching is concerned. I can see a NL team taking it this year.

 

The "toilet" may be a stretch. They aren't exactly losing to horrible competition and still have a pretty good record (and a pretty good lineup).
