X-Large Play On The Texans vs Colts Game

Starting out this NFL season with an X-Large Play. I really like the Colts to starts this season out with either a su win or a 3 point loss, a cover none the less.

We know the Texans are looking to take over the reigns in their division & would like to start off with a win vs their nemesis, the Colts. The Texans played great ball in the first 3 games of the preseason but decided not to show up in their last preseason game. The Colts were 0-3 entering their last preseason game & went into Cincy & pulled out a win with Kerry Collins at the helm.

Colts decided to sign Kerry Collins out of retirement after Manning needed surgery but hasnt recovered to play at all in the preseason. Looks as if Manning will finally miss a start in the regular season since he is recovering from surgery, hence the signing of Collins to run the offense.

The Colts will not lay down in this game & will come to play w/o Manning. I know the Colts are a totally different team w/o Manning as their Qb but collins will keep the Colts within a fg.

Bit of a risky play to go X large??? I have been watching your plays for a bit and you seem on most of the time..you dont think this one is a bit of a stretch? And no better plays to go X large with week 1? Not criticizing at all just curious about this one...

Huh? The line is 5 or higher. I havent gotten a line at my sportsbook yet thats why I havent placed a bet. As far as risky, all games are a risk, especially week 1 but I like this play the most.

I did okay last season.....as for college football, I try & be very selective so I dont post much college ball.

Here is a trend for the Texans vs Colts game, let me remind everyone that this trend is with Manning playing: The Colts are 16-2 SU vs the Texans life time.

Of course, I was counting on Manning being out when the spread went to Texans -3. Now its sitting at Texans -9, haha! The pro's in Vegas are middling this game like theres no tomorrow. I love the Colts in this spot.

Yes, it was only the 2nd time the Texans ever beat the Colts out of 18 tries, thats 2-16 SU.

I like the play. I think the books have over reacted on the line adjustment due to the public's love for Manning. As long as Collins doesn't show up drunk , I can't see the Texans covering this line.

Colts have been planning for this game knowing for a fact that Manning wasnt gonna play for about 2 months. They knew he wouldnt be ready & that is why the line moved back in July. The Colts will keep the Texans under 24 points.
