From Rajah.com:

WWE is reporting that Chris Benoit and his family (including his wife, former WCW manager Nancy "Woman" Benoit and son Daniel, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports) have been found dead in their home. Their is a photo of Benoit on the front page of WWE.com. Furthermore, all the stuff surrounding the faux McMahon death angle have been removed from the front page. This is not a joke. Here is WWE's message regarding this tragic news:

This shit is nuts. People bitching about Michael Vick with the dogs. To me this is worse what Vince does to these guys.

Something should be done.

I just got a phone call about the news. I am in total shock right now. He was supposed to wrestle C.M. Punk for the vacated ECW Championship at last night's WWE PPV Vengeance. During the PPV, an announcement mentioned that due to a family emergency, he would not be at the PPV as he flew back home to Atlanta.

Now this?

I hope that the WWE drops the fake death angle with Vince. There were many higher ups who wanted it scrapped when Sherri Martel passed away last week. In my opinion it shouldn't be discussed, the angle has to be dropped. They already took off all of the Vince stories from the front page.

That is very sad to hear, I had the opportunity to watch him wrestle in person a few years ago and he was definitely one of the best in the business.

I agree that Vince McMahon death angle should be dropped, they shouldn't have done it in the first place, in my opinion. Just to draw some good ratings for a few weeks is not worth.

Wow - what a shame. Awesome talent who by all accounts, did everything that was asked of him, even in trying circumstances.

His wife was heavily involved in WCW and ECW angles.

Horrible.

All of tonight's plans for RAW have been scrapped. Tonight's show will be a celebration of Chris' life.

Noooooo!!! I haven't watched wrestling in years but he was the man. No man could withstand the crossface crippler.

EGD I dont get it. For everyone to die it would seem like a murder but if he left yesterday because of an emergency seemed like he knew something was going on.

You have any thoughts on what could have happened.

Complete speculation on my part but when an entire family is found dead it is usually a murder/suicide situation. Who knows what happened but if I had to guess that is the first thing that came into my mind.

I really don't want to speculate on what could have happened. If I had to, I'd say he came home & found out/saw his wife & son were dead & killed himself. I really don't even feel write typing that out.

Some have questioned if it was a storyline. I know the WWE can & has gone way too far before. However as much as Chris would bend over backwards to do his job, I could never see him allowing such a storyline.

I doubt it is fake though as he isn't the type to not show up for a show. If it was a storyline he would have been at the show off camera & he wasn't. They also wouldn't scrap Raw completely for it either considering they had a 3 hour show lined up for tonight.

TNA has a message up about Chris so no way is it a storyline. This business is scary.

I hope for everyone's sake this isn't a work. It's pathetic that Vince's recent death angle actually makes me question whether or not this story is true.

I remember some classic angles with Sandman and Woman (Mrs. Benoit) in ECW.
