Are you using spyware?

Why are people's computers being "hijacked" and redirected to your site when going to other offshore websites?

Details are very sketchy right now, but something here really stinks.

Never have truth....this is secondhand info.

Here's the jist of the story that was posted:

...just got off the phone with a friend. he is having some issues logging on to some of his outs.

seems as though when he goes to enter his username/password (at at least 2 sites that advertise here), when he clicks some little yellow line comes up, and interferes with his attempt to enter his site of choice.

he is instead rerouted, to of all places, blodog.

Well who cares?? If the guy cant post for himself, then he deserves such shit!

By the way, bodog is one of the best books on this sites for quality propositions and 10 cent baseball lines.

Stop wasting our time with problems so minimal. This guy should play at bodog anyway

Not with a quality book. Why not just CALL THEM and ask them????

No reason to start shit here with a comment such as this. How come you dont make the same comment at your homepage majorwager.com???

Players, I'd bitch to no end about ANY book doing this, and my money would get pulled so fast it wouldn't even be funny.

Between the cold calls, the google debacle, and this-I'm really wondering what will be left of this industry by next Feb. I smell desparation in the air.

How much did how many books lose to Sbuxx? Is it that, or just market saturation & fierce competition?

If this is true it will hurt them far more than they will gain. Invasive spyware is turning into the bain of the internet and will have to be stopped. Many computer savy posters have helped me get rid of some nasty ones. Spybot is the one I run after every session of surfing, especially if I visited any porn sites.

TTinco what do you do for a living? Don't you work in the tech industry -

This isn't nefarious hijacking you moron. The "friend" likely has a computer program installed likely by "gain" or gator that hyperlinks everthing on his computer - it'll hyperlink "tire" so if you click on tire everywhere it appears on your computer you are going to be taken to michellin for instance.

If you have the term "sportsbook" on your CPU that will also be hyperlinked with a link - same goes for websites you are surfing. This isn't "hijacking" you can uninstall the program.

Get a clue, grip, life your pick, Just get something.

Randy, AdAware 6 is another "must have"...it's now actually better than spybot.

A personal firewall would also probably prevent this shit (I use Norton internet security & it works like a charm).

A personal firewall? Dude the program is installed on the end users computer by his choice.

Get a firewall and while you are at it lock up the doors too!!!

You want to talk about annoying shit, ask me about how skybook cold called me today about adding funds to my account "for the big game."

The guy then takes the time to tell me of the GREAT 10% bonus offer that they have. So I tell him that I can get a 20% bonus elsewhere, well that doesnt stop him. He just starts talkign louder!

He tells me that all of those books offering 20%-40 are books that will NEVER pay you! And he says that some of these books will have the rollover at 15x. Well then of course I gave him the example of gamblersavenue and the 20% cash bonus with only a 2x rollover and sportbet has 15% reload and only 3x rollover.

Well that kept his quiet for about 5 seconds before he started "selling" again! He tells me that their book is on the DON BEST screen so their book is a top tier book!

Funny thing is that he never asked me if I knew what the **** Don Best was? Of course I do, but he should have asked.

So now all of this shit and only because I signed up with the book at about 12pm today but hadnt funded the account within the first 5 hours! No telling what would happen if I didnt make a bet for a whole day or something!!

Well all of this wasnt that big of a deal for me, but for alot of you guys this would have pissed you off!

T,
I really couldn't imagine Bodog stooping to such pathetic tactics. I suspect this is the work of a greedy affiliate and not Bodog itself.

I hope I'm right, but nothing would surprise me in this "industry".

Lander, I'd be shocked myself-but as you said, nothing would surprise me in this "industry".

Way too many books seeming desperate for post ups this year. I think my money will be staying at Oly, Pinny & a lessor amount at 5 dimes.
