I really don't watch day to day, although these last few days have been discerning
I never really understood the market surge with so much uncertainty throughout the world, with an ongoing credit crisis, with the business community's complete lack of confidence and with DC being more obstructive than they've been in my lifetime.
From an investing standpoint, it's been a lost decade. A marginal mitigating factor is that with mutual funds, you tend to be buying more shares when prices are lower thus there is a compounding effect working to your advantage when there is growth.
I'm also going to have to see if there are any steals out there, like there were in March 2009.
