wow, suprised when I first saw this line.... I will be hoping for a few more points of vig by placing offers on the Mansion exchange but +168 is currently available at 5dimes.

-The oilers will be playing their 9 game in the last 19 days since May 7th, while the ducks have only played 6 during the same time period due to the fact that they swept the avalanche.

-Oilers have played 4 games in the past 8 days, while the ducks have only played 3 during the same time period.

-Oilers have been Outshot by the ducks in every game:

game 1: 32-26
game 2: 34-25
game 3: 38-22

TOTAL: 104-63

-Of course realize that the Oilers will do everything in their power to avoid going back to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Anaheim as they desperatly need the rest, but adrenalin may not be enough this time. Roloson proved that he can be beaten in game 3 as the ducks scored 4 goals on him in the third period & have scored 4 of the last 5 goals in the series. FWIW, they seem to currently have the momentum (as crazy as that sounds being down 0-3).

-Anaheim will likely mix things up by putting Jean-Sebastien Giguere back between the pipes where he will not only be playing to try to get anaheim back in the series, but playing for his job aswell, as it was so suddenly taken away by bryzgalov during these playoffs. Rust may hurt his game, its possible, but I think that we see a stellar performance from Giguere tonite between the pipes.

-Let us not forget that the Edmonton Team has been ravaged by the flu, several players have been sitting out due to the bug & others are currently fighting thru it. Shawn Horcoff and Jason Smith are fighting through it. Left winger Raffi Torres has missed the last two games but the Oilers managed to get by without him The Oilers admitted Wednesday that they are tired and weakened after playing an NHL-high 15 playoff games. This Edmonton Team is nothing short of exhausted.

Need more?

-Ducks have outhit the oilers 50-46 in the series

-Ducks have won 55 per cent of all face offs.

-The ducks have caried the play for very long stretches in this series with no wins to show for it, but not for lack of playing well.

-Beleive it or not, Edmonton has such a strong home ice advantage & are on such an emotional, adrenal filled high, I still make them a slight favorite in this game.... but -180????

THAT IS RIDICULOUS!!!

Damn, you make it sound like Edmonton is lucky to even be where they are...

All of theose factors you pointed out are true but they all don't matter because this team has heart and will not let any of that get in the way...

What Anaheim has going against it is they have to many rookies and players with no experience, they have outshot Edmonton but not a ton of quality chances and game 4 the flu or fatigue will not be a factor as in game 3 Edmonton got out to the big lead and sat back thinking the game was over that will not happen tonight...

Oh and Giguere is/was hurt with a leg injury that is why he struggled....

Rumor is that several Oilers have the flu. Key is - do the Ducks go out fighting, or just hang their heads and get swept.

Will be a very hard fought game and the flu or being sick is over rated when you are playing in games of this magnatude...

They will not let the flu affect them and go out and play....

I disagree. A 3-0 lead certainly takes a bit of that magnatude away. I think the play is Ana tonight, but best of luck to you.

Edmonton will still have plenty of urgency tonight...

No player ever wants to lose or even let down when the games mean this much...Complacency is not an issue here..

Edmonton will not let down tonight, they want to rest and do not want to go back to Cali...

By price you can say the DUcks are the play but the problem is they can't win in Edmonton...

To me -160/-170 is value on Edmonton...

SS,
To be honest, I haven't laid any serious coin in many months. I'm enjoying my free time with my family. Hockey is about the only sport I'm following anymore, but mostly because I'm a fan.

Edm wins game 5 IMO.
