Log into a system. It goes to each place you have a balance or a bet history. Pulls all the info back to one spot.
You can now see your balance, open bets, bet history, etc for all books (or just one book if that's all you use).
You can run reports on wins/losses.
I lose xx when I bet on the f'ing yanks. I win xxx much when I bet home dogs, etc. I lose my butt on the NBA. etc, etc, etc.
Your account info is stored in an encrypted database that can ONLY be seen by you.

I'd like it, but I may be the only one.:smoker2:

So it can log into your account?

I don't care if its encrypted or whatever, if you have to enter your password on that website, THEY can see it.

People would pay YOU $100 a month.

you may be right about the password deal. I was told it might be able to be done without admin seeing it, but I'm no computer person. You wouldn't think it could be done without someone seeing your password, but hell, I don't kwow.

I would think people would like it, but it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong (like betting the yanks last night).

Sounds like WagerStation. Just don't use the password wizard with the program. It's not as though opening up your own browser window is that hard to do. I have used the program before in the past and it is a good product. The team over there is quick to answer to problems and requests. In fact they re-wrote the program for some small formatting thing that I had suggested to them and did it within a matter of a day or so.

If this isn't WagerStation, I'd still use it less the password wizard.

the difference from wagerstation and what I'm talking about is my idea would retrieve your bets from each book automatically.

In WS, you have to manually enter what bets you've made. First off, I can do that in excel and second, things get missed or input incorrectly doing it manually.

What I'm talking about may not even be possible. I'm just asking the question.

I would. That would save me a ton of time with databases.

Sounds like a great idea. Would be very convenient not to even have to enter my bets into a spreadsheet. And if what you speak of is possible then I think it would also be possible to retrieve live lines from all of your books when you log in which would be a huge plus

getting "your" lines would be good. It would solve the issue of different lines for different players. Whatever you would be looking at would be your lines.

I'll see what I can do.

The big issue is books trying to stop if from happening. I don't think they would have the right to, but they may try.

I mention it because it would then double as a live line service where you can see the live odds on a game at every book you have money at. People pay good money for live line services

There'd be a HUGE market for it!

Also, semi-related:

there's a dire need in particular for horseplayers...there are several programs that automatically get the tote boards at several of the online providers & interface with Pinny bet module through a combination of their writers' interface AND a third-party utility. Now....somebody was supposed to be developing something for auto-managing the bankroll w/o having to manually input the bets as you mention.... but dropped out. If you can just put together that one thing, there'd be lots of money for you...w/o even getting into your more complex idea.
Literally hundreds of folks have been clamoring for this at the various boards for a long, long time--the guy doing the project strung everyone along for like two years with no final result.

I can put you together with the software & data providers involved.

Can you send me more info on this idea. If it's ok with the mods, kksuited at yahoo is my email.

I'd like to hear more so I that I fully understand the concept.
