It sounds good to me, ( But not for me). I told my buddy to hold of CL'ing it for 24 hours, let me have the chance to offer it to my broke friends, first.

It sounds like a great beater, likely needs tires ( too aged), and other rubber stuff like gaskets.

$500 for a beater car ain't bad, with only 28k on it. It would need some stuff.

<style></style>It needs a front crank seal for oil leak, intermittent gas guage (probably a connection) , emergency brake hardware clanging around in the rear brake drum. Nothing else wrong to my knowledge- a couple hundred bucks for repair IMO.

A Steal @ That Price

Body integrity? Rust, all rubber including tires, hoses etc., brakes, front end i.e.safety, tranny fluid change, also cooling system flush. Probably around 5-7 hun., well worth it especially if the body & interior are "cherry".
