Would it have made a difference if Kyrie Irving or Kevin Love didn't get Hurt ?

I think if Cleveland have had Both, they could have beaten the warriors ( Slam Dunk )

Irving alone, probably would have taken it to Game 7

Love alone Cavs win it.

Just my 2cents

Correct on all fronts.

James had 0 help, as usual when he plays in Cleveland (not the organizations fault this time around).

Either or 100% and they win.

Never seen a team in my life have every single thing go there way all the way from game 1 of the regular season to the last game of the post season.

With just Irving I doubt it. Love it is tough to say.

The 5 small lineup wouldn't have worked vs a Love/Thompson frontcourt over an extend stretch I don't think, that was pretty much what changed the series and got GS going again. This would've been a really good series for Love matchup wise. He would've been a nice chess piece vs this team.

Both of them healthy? Yeah they probably get it. If you cut LeBron's usage by like a 3rd his efficiency would've been much better.

Probably was fitting that injuries were the most important factor in the playoffs considering there were more injuries this year than ever.

In GS defense when your players aren't logging big minutes, sitting 4th quarters and you've got a deep bench then you are less susceptible to injury than the average team so in a sense you do make your own luck. Similar to the Spurs last year.

Did you guyS hear Gentry give a shout out to AD in the post game ? Telling AD that he and him will be standing in this spot very soon.

I think I'm beginning to like this guy.

Also hearing talk of NO being one of the 3 serious contenders for KD in 2 years.

Its a travesty how the OKC ownership fucked up that situation.

I don't think any team in NBA history ever had 3 of the top 7 players in the NBA besides OKC and they don't have a damn thing to show for it

Fwiw, KD is a FA after next season. I did see that though, Kerr told him jokingly to getout of the locker room after.

Sure they could have won with both of them - but at the same time they lose to SA in Round 1 if they play in the West - same goes for the Clippers - and they have no shot of coming out of the West unless they got the path that Golden State had

With both it goes 7 and who knows who wins. The series price would have been much more even. With just Irving their offensive ability goes up, but they also probably wouldn't have had such a great defensive team effort....the game plan changes so to speak, so you can't just plug in two players and say that would have been the difference. Everything changes. But yeah, I would have liked Cleveland's chances.

Saying they would've lost to the Clippers or Spurs is presumptuous, they would've been like +130 vs SA and probably a bit of a fav vs LAC.

The Cavs after the midseason trades were like 33-5.

With Love and Irving the Cavs were the favorites to win it all.....All season they were the chalk.

And they were gonna be dogs in the finals to everyone but Dallas and NO

Nah. SA/GS would've been slight favs over them at most, pretty much just accounting for HCA. Everyone else a clear cut dog (maybe LAC a slight fav if they romped to the finals)

They closed +190 to GS with Love out and Kyrie was known to be dealing with tendinitis and a foot sprain, Houston and Memphis were +800 vs GS for comparisons sake.
