US now accounting for > 25% of world's Covid19 cases, yet cant seem to catch up to most of the G20 in per capita testing. Even tiny Denmark has done almost twice the tests per capita that the US has (source: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries )

Pandemic in USA completely out of control and getting worse. US Death rate increasing, shutdowns restarting. The excrement is officially striking the air blowing machine

I don't have the stats, but think the young folks that flooded the beaches from Memorial day on (looked packed from what I saw), have a big impact on the rise in cases. They feel bullet proof and to some extent likely are from the stats, but their grandparents are not.

If America is handling this so poorly, why is our death rate per million residents lower than the EU?

No liberal ever answers this question.

It's pathetic.

And on the flip side.

If the US is handling it so well, how come its still a raging inferno over here while in Europe they pretty much fixed it already

the us has less population density, than EU countries

We also have more African Americans and Hispanics, who are proven to not do as well with this virus. We also have more people with heart conditions, diabetes, obesity, etc., all factors that increase the likelihood of unfavorable outcomes from Coronavirus.

And like I told you in the other thread, our death rate per million is still significantly lower than Spain, Italy, UK, and France and in line with Europe as a whole.

But I think you've made it pretty clear you have a political position and that's more important to you than a fair analysis of how America is handling this.

I been working on the COVID-19 floor the last 2 days. Please don't listen to MSM about all these new cases. At our peak we had over 246 COVID-19 patients and now we're down to 119 patients. This new 17 per 1 person getting COVID-19 is a lie.”

It didn't take more than a few minutes to find this answer anyone could who was interested in searching:

"Data on coronavirus death rates remain imprecise, due in part to limited testing availability and the prevalence of mild or asymptomatic cases that often go unrecorded. Still, among the 20 countries most affected by the virus, at least 14 have lower death rates than the US."

"Dr. Peter Hotez, professor of pediatrics and molecular virology and microbiology at Baylor College of Medicine, told CNN that according to the latest data from Johns Hopkins, the President's statements were not accurate. Out of the at least 2.8 million cases of coronavirus in the US, as of Monday morning Johns Hopkins estimated a fatality rate of 4.5%, the sixth highest worldwide."

"The US death toll from coronavirus is more than twice as high as that of the country with the second-highest death toll, Brazil, based on data from Johns Hopkins. Out of the 20 most affected countries, the US also has the second highest number of coronavirus deaths per 100,000 people, behind the United Kingdom."

"These numbers on coronavirus fatality rates in the US are not necessarily correlated with the record increase in cases reported by several states. From June 18-22, the daily reported death tolls reached lows not seen across a five day period since March, according to the Covid Tracking Project, a group led by Atlantic magazine staff writer Alexis Madrigal. The group has more than 100 volunteers and compiles coronavirus testing data from state government websites and government officials. US Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams said last week that data on coronavirus deaths "lag at least two weeks," so it's possible the death rate has not caught up to the recent spikes in cases.

Columbia epidemiologist Elizabeth Radin told CNN she hadn't seen any evidence that the US has among the lowest Covid-19 "mortality rates" in the world.

"To be sure, estimates for all countries are subject to measurement error due to inaccurate reporting or attribution of deaths and/or under identification of cases due to limited testing. Additionally data from some countries may be more accurate or complete than others," Radin said. "I have not seen other reliable estimates that suggest that case fatality rate or deaths per population are uniquely low in the United States compared to other countries."

“Washington state increased testing 108% in the weeks prior to our statewide mask mandate. Obviously that resulted in an increase in virus cases. However the actual infection rate dropped 22% during that time! More testing = more cases even though infection rate plummeted.”

Are you retarded? Look at the death per millions rate of Europe. It's not complicated.

UK has ____ many people, and _____ many deaths. All you have to do is divide. Spain, same thing. Italy, same thing. France, same thing. Then you add Europe up and divide, and compare to America's number.

Your article didn't do that.

Are you a fucking retard?

I'll go a step further here. If you really think our mortality rate is anywhere near 4.5%, you are guaranteed to be a literal fucking retard.
