When you had a game in the bag (or you were hopelessly behind)
Whats the worst turn of events that happened to turn the game?

I go to the 2012 Belk Bowl (Cinn/Duke) yes I remember the perticulars
This was bad on two counts 1 I lost a game I had wrapped up & 2 my wager was extra large ... like 3X large
The line was Cinn-9 ... The game was tied 34-34 ... There was about 1:30 to go in regulation ... Duke had the ball on the 10 yard line going in
Even if the game goes to OT 9 is a sure OT winner . I mean score tied my team inside 10 with ball 1:20 left in game and I have 9 pts isn't that pretty much a lock?
Next the horror show.
Duke runs for 5 yds to the 5 but fumbles the ball .... Cinn recovers ... I'm still good with 1:20 to go and the end zone 95 yds away
Cinn runs a few plays gets a 1st down .... Then scores on an 83 yd Pass and run ... Score 41-34 Cinn ... I'm still good with plus 9 pts
Next Duke gets the ball with 44 sec to go they move the ball around 20 yds then they throw a pick 6 Score 48-34 Cinn ... and that's all she wrote
*** To add to the story the guy who had the 83 yd pass and run: Travis Kelce

sc notre dame 2005 or 6 can't remember. The Reggie bush tush push game. Needed sc -3.5.

They get the td to go up 3, get multiple excessive celebration penalties to push the xp way back. Miss the extra point. Talk about an extreme up and down 🤣

20+ years ago, I had a college team +9. Game went into OT and I lost because the other team scored a TD and my team threw a pick 6 on their OT possession.

Worst one ever was back in the day my buddy had BYU plus about 19 or so against UNLV runnin rebs. Was a 5-10 point game the entire game. BYU hits a half court shot at buzzer to force OT. UNLV outscores them like 21 0 in OT. The worst part was we were watching it on TV

my clock is stuck on 420 time to hit this bong

The one that always sticks out to me that went my way was Pittsburgh Steelers vs San Diego Chargers. I will never forget this game til the day i die. The line was Steelers -2.5 or 3.5 and they weren't covering at the end of the game but they were winning. Chargers were getting desperate at the end of the game with all these laterals and Polamalu snatched one of those laterals and ran it for TD with no time left. No penalty or anything. The referees huddled together and called the TD off with no explanation and ran off the field as quickly as possible. I remember everybody in the sportsbook in Vegas was looking at each other with confused looks on depending who you took. Vegas took a big hit because they cashed out some of the Pittsburgh bets as winners if they cashed out within 5 minutes of the game ending and also gave everybody who took Chargers the official win.

The one that went against me was Pittsburgh vs Cleveland where the whole world was on Pittsburgh -2.5. Pitt was winning by 1 and you had it 1st and goal like 8 times but you can tell Rothlisberger cheating ass had no intentions to score. You can see it in his face this cheating mfer was working for them. With that being said...Pitt and the Rothlisbergers days had a lot of questionable games. Pittsburgh will always be at the top of my list of a questionable franchise involved with sports betting.

It happen in a Trojans game when about 20 years ago + I remember when I was 17-18 years old. My cousin took the Trojans +9 or he had the other team -9. But it happen exactly like you said in overtime....he was counting his money til that happen and with my cousin's personality......he never let it go and we would hear about for the whole week. We were young at that time. Lol.

I got fucked bad on a Vikings/Packers game about 25 years ago when the ball rolled off the receiver and landed on the defender without ever touching the ground causing Favre to throw the INT. Anyone remember the game?
