2 Units LAR -4: Big gm actually w/both teams vying for POs. LA @ hm w/better coaching & QB play is the difference here. Carr is doing his usual thing which is a roller coaster ride of highs & lows. Stafford is playing well, but the true engine for them is Kyren Williams. He's been under the radar in LA's wins. LA also gets back Havenstein & Tutu (this team wins award for greatest WR names in the league).
Cash, I sure hope MIA is as excited for the next 3 gms as the fans are. We all feel they can beat any of them, anywhere so they better bring their A-gm!
I think Connor Williams' injury is going to cost us a SB shot, or win if we make it. Eichenberg has been serviceable & hats off to him, but there's no way he can compete w/the top dogs of the league. I absolutely hope he proves me wrong, but he has consistently been the weak spot on the oline. Missing Jaelan Phillips will also hurt against the top olines. Just brutal late season injuries for us.
Completely agree Vinny. The most painful lesson for me was going against the 08 NYG vs the 18-0 Patriots. As soon as that matchup was set, I knew Brady would struggle against that great dline & Eli was playing lights out in that POs as a WC. Consistently the SBs before that one, the public side almost always lost. For the next 2 wks, all I heard from friends & coworkers was how that dline was going to pressure Brady & it would be a big upset. Everyone sounded so sure of themselves, that it made me start to doubt my pick. So when I saw the line drop just 1/2 a pt the morning of SB for NYG, I switched my pick to NE -13. I promised myself never again would I let the public sway me from my capping.
Totally agree. I see most teams are having issues with injuries but Williams, Baker and Phillips are brutal and may prove to be too much to overcome, especially Williams. That is such a critical position. A bad snap or a sack can flip any game. Let’s hope Eichenberg continues to prove us all wrong!!
