Wormy Pix Pick of the Week (8)

Almost a perfect wk 7, w/BUF coming back for a push. NOR did great at GB despite a slow start.

I'm out at a beach house enjoying time with friends & family so I didn't get to do my due diligence so buyer beware.

POW 3-4, Teasers 3-4, Overall 18-15-1.

SEA -6 1/2 is starting to find their groove on "O" while their "D" is still at an elite level. SEA performs well against young QBs & this will be Watson's 1st time at the loud Link. HOU's run gm is still floundering so I feel Watson will need to throw where SEA's secondary will likely feed. SEA's own run gm is getting healthier & the Baldwin/Wilson combo is finally starting to warm up. With HOU owner McNair's "inmates" comments riling up players this wk, that added distraction can't help the Texans.

1 Unit SD +7 1/2: Feel an upset brewing here. Rivers is a rd warrior & SD's dline can get pressure on Brady which has always been key to beating the Pats.

1 Unit NYJ +6 1/2: Another hunch here as NY has proven to be a quality team. ATL is really struggling on "O" post-Shanahan. NY takes advantage here by stopping the run & doubling Julio.

Nice hit on the Saints last week. GB definitely was a different team on offense without their general at the helm. You were spot on with your analysis of the game.

Seattle on my lean list. I agree with everything you say about Seattle. Usually a tough home team and we know how loud it can get at that place.

I like Atlanta to score a bunch against the Jets and bust out of their offense slump. Miami backup Moore lit them up and they couldn't even score against the Ravens who had been struggling this year. Atlanta definitely struggling on offense, but I'll take Ryan over McCown anytime. I think Atlanta is going to start a run and if they can't beat the Jets then their season is in real trouble!

Yeah, NYJ is a serious hunch based on what I've seen from them so far. Watching both gms for ATL against NE & MIA, Ryan doesn't look confident. And the "D" feeds off the "O". So all NY has to do is stop the run, which isn't easy w/Freeman & Coleman. ATL could very well open up here & McCown look like his normal self.
